Lopetegui (sacked 8.1.2025)

Post maverick180 »

I was thoroughly looking forward to the start of this season

Was also prepared that things might take some time and wasn't expecting miracles over night What I didn't expect was a manager who after spending 6 weeks with the total dross he'd been left by Moyes would deem them fit to start in a premier league game And low and behold all of them played absolute shit

We're now 1 game in and none of our new players are any closer to bedding in or learning anything from their new team mates cos they barely spent a second on the pitch, half of them not at all I think it's gonna take somewhere between 6-10 games before we see the team anyone with an ounce of sense would play cos this bloke can't identify shit when he see's it I thought we was handed a miracle at half time when we went in level and low and behold he changed nothing I'm sure people are gonna make excuses for him and say it's too early to judge

But from what I've just seen today, this cսnt is David Moyes in a mission impossible mask

Fuck knows what Cottee thinks he's up to, he's become some sort of superfan all of a sudden, since he lost his job and got fuck all to do he's been on a jolly up at our games, lapping up all the adulation from the fans, yet when it really mattered when he was playing for us, he fucked off at the first chance and left us in the lurch.

I get it about being his career and all that, but he didn't have to leave, football was different back then. Fair enough if that's how you are, but don't suddenly make out you're a diehard years later. All a bit cringe.

So guess it was Cottee who was the nodding twat harping on about how we should be looking back at the Moyes tenure with regret during the Chelsea game.

They walk among us.

Ray Parlour said the same thing about a year ago, he's just repeating it. As for Sutton, the gobby wanker needs a slap, weird how we have got under his skin so much. Hopefully the prick will meet an untimely death.

He's clearly in charge of every decision, so why not stop the pretence and actually do everything? Get rid of the manager, coaching staff & Tim, and have a dream team of himself, his two mini me kids and Mr West Ham. It makes sense

Salthouse.

You look at the players we've been linked to, and signed, over the summer.  Quite a few were his clients as well.

Unaware that Moyes was English
He kept that well hidden what with the ginger locks and bulging eyes

Anyone would think he's a muzzie . The way you're banging on about him . But he's a foreigner so close enough. All else he needs is to be black . And the full set is complete.

Just a cock I think. To be fair I've just reread this weeks and it's not quite as clearly antagonistic as he has been but it's still quite barbed. Mockingly referring to 'the West Ham way' and a dash of the standard 'careful what you wish for'.

'Julen Lopetegui needs a result and he needs a performance, the West Ham way... whatever that is under him.Their fans wanted a change, and they got the change... and I think they have expected a much better start than the one they have got.'

Everyone knows Lop's connection to one of the dwarf's favourite agents, yet he still went there and hired him, the little cսnt is shameless. Why doesn't the Everton Legend mention that?

Although if he should cark it surely the sons would get someone who knows how to run a football club in to run the football club as a chief exec. They surely can't think they've got the business chops to do so themselves.

A reminder that things could be much worse. We could be lumbered with his son. Let's hope (pray!) that he sells before he carks it. If his son inherits we could be in a worse situation.
Ha! True. We'd be utterly utterly fucked. But surely as I said, they can't think be silly enough to think they've got what it takes to run a football club? I mean proper serious businessmen like their dad and that clown running Burnley (yes, that Mission to Burnley series makes him seem like a well meaning but very earnest non self aware clueless idiot) are just not equipped to do it, clearly but they are like footballing savants compared to what I imagine Sullivan jrs would be like. We'd get absolutely reamed by everyone on whatever deal we tried to do, unless they just shut the fuck up and completely trusted a competent CEO to do it.

There is this self serving narrative with ex pros with revisionist views on Moyes who probably is the last remaining English manager that existed from when they played. So of course they value that link to them because “its all about them” just like many fans on fan forums 🤭.   Loppy getting the tin tack means web site hits, people paying attention to stories about West Ham I suppose?

Its not lookimg good just now but think I will hang fire on demanding change  to after we play 2 teams not in the rich 6.
That absolute cսnt Chris Sutton has not failed to have a dig at the West Ham fans in every predictions article this season so far. It's just lazy and spiteful at this point. We have a right to an opinion.

Yup. If he was going to sell as his main intention, it would have been when the mythical clause as part of the stadium deal expired- at least on the assumption it has expired already and it's not 10 years or something? Only possible thing that might be holding anything up otherwise is the Gold family shares? Kretinsky doesn't seem interested in owning the club though and no noise from the other shareholders and no-one else seems to want to touch us with a barge pole. I imagine there's a stupidly inflated asking price. I've no idea why anyone in their right mind would want to be a minority shareholder to Sullivan if they were not planning a takeover.

Looks like we are stuck with him for the foreseeable like the proverbial millstone. Although if he should cark it surely the sons would get someone who knows how to run a football club in to run the football club as a chief exec. They surely can't think they've got the business chops to do so themselves.

That's the bit that's concerning me. He gives off the impression he is absolutely baffled by what's going on, as someone else said on here, he looks shellshocked by all. And it's hard to get a gauge of where he might be at in interviews, because he's barely understandable. I imagine it's not far different in the dressing room.

Ray Parlour this morning suggesting we should be sold. And we need new owners.! Don't know what's more surprising. A pundit in the mainstream media talking sense. Or TalkSport letting someone have a pop at our owners.!

"no-one can say with any certainty that he wouldn’t have turned it around."

how long did you want to wait to turn it around? lost twenty league games in 22/23, conceded 74 league goals in 23/24. the football was dogshit for years, only alleviated by rice and the european games

you even had the fucking poison dwarf cottee sticking his boot in on alco brazil's breakfast show. literally saying, hahahahaha, "Be careful what you wish for" and not just attacking the manager, also slaughtering the two keepers. two keepers that have been superb for us. especially ariola, who if wasn't for him we would have shipped 100+ goals last season. let's stop with the west ham
legend bollocks for that midget everton shithouse
