Had a bit of a thing for the sultry songstress, with her A level English lit style songs. (Gawd knows what the lyrics mean
I thought she was a right sort
Went to see her at Hammy O in the 80's with , that folk guitar hero, Adrian Legg was support and was fab, check out the album 'Guitars and other Cathedrals'
Anyway Ms Tikaram hit the stage and was fuckin awful.
We stayed for 3 songs and fucked off the the Brittiana after she murdered' Twist in my Sobriety' , quite ironic as we ended up getting shit faced with Mr Legg who was also in the pub.

Totally agree. I was born in 60 but I can vaguely remember This Week being on tv.
