I can assure you Forest will be absolutely delighted not to see his name on the starting line-up.

I would. We were significantly better after he went off. He’s not in any form at all and Forest are flying. We’ll need to have everyone on their game if we are to have any chance.

Seen a couple of articles today that reckon Loppy will drop him for Forest. Tempting, certainly, but I don't think I would do it when Kudus is also unavailable.

Didn't think he had a bad attitude. He keeps working, keeps showing for the ball, tackles back etc.

Just horribly off form and with match situations that don't suit his long weighted through ball style...plus in tight congested areas he gets swamped by the oppo. Also they pass the ball to him in some pretty poor situations.

Does he really “lose the ball all the time”? What I saw last game indicated he is pretty much one of the best in the team on the ball, gets loads of it and was possibly fouled twice to be dispossessed, which led to two goals against us. Now I understand expectations are high and maybe trying to get a decision out of the officials in this way is not the right thing to do but at least let’s take these things into account if we are to have any sort of sensible exchange on the matter.

Best thing about Paqueta at the moment is he provides the perfect platform for all the wankers only intent on meeting their need to slag someone off.

Stay where you are so we can post a pic of you up on social media.

Overrated show pony who's about a tenth as good as he thinks he is on a good day and a total clown shoe wearing liability at present. Picking him tomorrow is basically asking for a P45 on Monday.

Another thing about him is the side betting allegations and endless FA investigation have created an open-season situation when it comes to fouling him out of the game. Given that every opposition game planner knows how much we rely on him for the quality ball, it may indeed be time to think about benching him if he doesn’t perform in a proper starting line-up.

Paqueta failed in Italy ( or was it Spain) as a number 10 IIRC? But his best club spell in Europe was as a number 8 at Lyon.

Doesn't he play as a winger for Brasil?
When I've seen him play for Brazil, he's more of a six or eight, deep-lying playmaker with defensive duties. He would pick up the ball deep and be able to run at defenders. I think he works best in this role for us. He was doing okay on the left with Emerson last year, but he's been a shell of himself this year. never seems to be at the races.

A shadow of the player who took the piss out of Leeds with some of the best flair since Di Canio days. Then goes onto play the ball to Bowen for the winner in Prague. It's been a steep downhill curve since then and can only imagine this betting scandal is playing a big part but it's time he gets dropped. I've not seen much to suggest Soler is going to be any better but we need a team player now who doesn't lose the ball every 2 minutes for now

Yes, getting bundled over and staying down to get a favourable decision from an official is not the kind of performance that will endear him to the fans. Really think Bowen should be stepping in here as captain, mind you. Maybe he is only it isn’t working?

For a long time now he has not done enough to excuse the mistakes and regularly giving the ball away.

If he was turning up every week and putting in a performance then the benefits the team would get from an in form Paqueta could maybe allow us to turn a blind eye to the odd error.

Paqueta has made himself unpopular by keep losing the ball which ends up in our net more often than he makes a goal or scores. I'm sure I noticed 2 of his turnovers ended up as goals against Spurs iirc?

So far our much heralded forward line of top international forwards isn't doing very well and Paqueta worse than most. Is that the tactics, the manager or players? Probably a bit of everything...

The fraud Paqueta should be dropped but will 'loser Lop' have the balls to drop him? I highly doubt it.
