West Ham vs Nott'm Forest | League | 2.11.24 | Predictions & Lineup
So what do we think this week. Didn't think much of Forest until I looked into their team and they look to have some pretty talented players and setup in a way that could well be Lopetegui's kryptonite! Pacey wingers, sit deep, hit on the counter...all things that have fucked us repeatedly this season.
Plus Chris Wood on form who always gets one against us.
Anyway, gonna stay optimistic and predict a 1-0 to us, but at this point would be happy with a draw.
Team I'd pick:
GK Fabianski
RB Wan Bissaka
RCB Todibo
LCB Kilman
LB Emerson
RCM Soucek
CDMRodriguez
LCM Alvarez
RF Bowen
CF Paqueta or Ings or Antonio
LW Summerville
I'd be tempted to play Paqueta at CF...he's no worse than Antonio at keeping the ball, Antonio won't out-muscle Milenkovic, and he'd be more likely to play in the wide players (plus with the three that finished in midfield against Man Utd, we lack someone that can pass).
What say the rest of you?

The pressure is off us for this game playing away and to a very in form side. I think it's a really good opportunity to go for the 3 points and throw caution to the wind, as the momentum could really build if we did manage another win back-to-back. We have the quality, it's just finding the right blend and formation to get the best out of them.
The thought of an in form and firing wingers Bowen and Summerville should give them plenty to worry about all game. Just tighten up a bit defensively as a Team then the rest should take care of itself.
1-3

Anyone who said you couldn't call Sunday's game, called it right, they should have been three up, yet we won. This one is easier to call and it points to a home win. On form, good pacey players, tight ground with loud support etc and we rock up all over the place. Would take a point, which we can get, but we would have to play very well while containing them, not sure I can see that happening.

Time for Soler to turn on the power and show what he's got. Stuck out on the left flank did him no favours, centrally is where he does his best work.

I've basically written the bloke off until January. No sign of him in the training videos, so clearly can't even start training, will be horribly unfit even when he can run again, and will be slowly slowly when he's back to avoid a flare up.
If we see him on the pitch for the first team, let alone starting a game, before 2025 will be remarkable.
Another in the long line of West Ham striker disasters.
