It's ironic really.
It's the same structure that Amorim plays (3-4-3) which is considered very attacking.
Emerson is as much a midfielder as a defender, Wan Bissaka has shown he's pretty good in midfield build up, he's looked to address our weakness to the counter. We've all been moaning the fullbacks spend the whole season playing as wingers until now.
Paqueta gives us some guile assuming he plays as a tale 9, takes away the danger of him losing it deep, and he's got decent body strength to play with his back to goal.
Really don't see a problem here. I'd be more bothered if he'd trotted out the same old lineup with the same issues.
Fabianski
Todibo. Mavropanos. Kilman
Wan Bissaka. Alvarez. Rodriguez. Emerson
Bowen. Paqueta. Summerville
Looks ok to me given the way they play, we're away from home, and we're so porous typically.
Intent will be the key.
As I say....it's no different to how Amorim would setup with our squad if he was here...and there's a big love in on him.
