I think Summerville is going to really shine in this game, it’s the perfect opposition for him. 2-0 west ham

I'd assume its Bowen through the middle with Summerville and Paqueta just off either side - but who knows???

5-3-2 or 5-2-1-2 or 3-4-1-2

Where is Paqueta playing on the right with Bowen up top or as a 3 with Paqueta a false 9...
3-2-3-2 in attack?

We'll see during the game. Guarantee Amorim at Man Utd plays the first game with Mazouari (sp?) and Dalot as his wingbacks.

We also know if it's not working Lopetegui will change it.

I think he's done the right thing...we can't keep shipping golden chances every game. Glad he's been proactive here.

I honestly can't see Paqueta playing that role in his current form. Also, Summerville gets a start and has no proper striker alongside him? Weird

I dunno. I don't think it's that bad. He's tried to fix the defensive vulnerability in my mind. Probably thought, quite correctly, that we don't have striker and isn't going to pretend that we do so relying on Summerville and Bowen for the goals. I can see the comparisons to Moyes but I don't see them sitting back with this team.

It's ironic really.

It's the same structure that Amorim plays (3-4-3) which is considered very attacking.

Emerson is as much a midfielder as a defender, Wan Bissaka has shown he's pretty good in midfield build up, he's looked to address our weakness to the counter.  We've all been moaning the fullbacks spend the whole season playing as wingers until now.

Paqueta gives us some guile assuming he plays as a tale 9, takes away the danger of him losing it deep, and he's got decent body strength to play with his back to goal.

Really don't see a problem here.  I'd be more bothered if he'd trotted out the same old lineup with the same issues.
Fabianski

Todibo.    Mavropanos.   Kilman

Wan Bissaka.    Alvarez.    Rodriguez.    Emerson

Bowen.      Paqueta.     Summerville
Looks ok to me given the way they play, we're away from home, and we're so porous typically.

Intent will be the key.

As I say....it's no different to how Amorim would setup with our squad if he was here...and there's a big love in on him.

So no striker and only Bowen and Summerville as recognised forwards.

Anyone would think we’re playing at the Camp Nau.
