Lopetegui (sacked 8.1.2025)

Post maverick180 »

I was thoroughly looking forward to the start of this season

Was also prepared that things might take some time and wasn't expecting miracles over night What I didn't expect was a manager who after spending 6 weeks with the total dross he'd been left by Moyes would deem them fit to start in a premier league game And low and behold all of them played absolute shit

We're now 1 game in and none of our new players are any closer to bedding in or learning anything from their new team mates cos they barely spent a second on the pitch, half of them not at all I think it's gonna take somewhere between 6-10 games before we see the team anyone with an ounce of sense would play cos this bloke can't identify shit when he see's it I thought we was handed a miracle at half time when we went in level and low and behold he changed nothing I'm sure people are gonna make excuses for him and say it's too early to judge

But from what I've just seen today, this cսnt is David Moyes in a mission impossible mask

Oh no, this (completely unfair) nonsense is one thing that puts my back up. You want to blame the manager when we lose, but when we win it has nothing to do with him?? I mean seriously son, grow up a bit.
No, I think you need to grow up... or at least be mature enough to understand nuance.

Sorry that I seem to have to labour this but a manager can be hopeless and still win games. If you don't believe me take a look at the season under Avram Grant.

Semi final of the league cup, 6th round of rhe FA cup... beat Spurs, won away at Fulham on Boxing Day in the 'ultimatum game', yet comfortably our worst manager in recent history.

Let me spell it out for you. We won those games IN SPITE OF HIM

Typical dithering from Sullivan
You can just imagine the Wolves game
Their fans will be keen to be the team that gets him the sack after he walked out on them & O’Neill has been disgruntled after recent games with us and has been handed a chance to save his job.

I've not seen anything about Ward-Prowse or Alvarez. Just Kudus for rightly getting taken off at Half-time for being dogshit at Brentford and Todibo going radio rental at Half-time when Bowen thought he was bang out of order for doing so.

If its the player's acting up, then they can either buck their ideas up or fuck off. If it was Lopetegui then he can fuck off, but from what's been said it suggests the 2 players have been the issue, not the other way around.

I do fucking care and if it's coming from that cսnt, he's just passing on sullivan's words. As of tonight, and in the short space of four months, he's fell out with Ward Prowse, Alvarez, Kudus, Areola and Todibo. And these are just the ones we know about. He needs to go now

I don't care who it comes from if it happens to be true and it was indeed the player that was bang out of order.

If Bowen thought it was disrespectful and had to intervene himself to diffuse the situation, then I'd sooner trust his judgement than take the side of a Johnny come lately throwing his toys out the pram for not getting it his own way.

It seems it was the player that was out of order, not the manager. Not that he could have knocked anyone out with those girly spindly arms of his.

Keeping him is stupid. He's fallen out with key players, many are baffled by his tactics and the rest know he is hanging by a thread.

What good can it do keeping him, apart from prolonging a shit period of results?

Sullivan - an egotistical, interfering, malevolent individual. Why can't he just fuck off - everyone hates him.

You keep.banging on about how his touchline ban was significant. Odd

Anyhow, we wont be getting 'at least 10.points' from those 5 remaining games. Not a chance

I've already stated on here that I considered a run of at least 10 points from the next 6 matches after the Arsenal game leading us to the end of the year. That to me would constitute a run. That's when I was prepared to judge him fairly once most of the players were back from injury and suspension, as well as the manager himself now back on the touchline again.

We were very lucky to beat the Nigels and Man utd
We were fortunate to get a point at Fulham
All those results were achieved with Lopetegui at the helm but they dont make him a good manager. They were achieved through poor finishing and good fortune... in spite of the manager's selection, set up and tactics

Now define 'run'

Beat Wolves (possible with any manager, they're more awful than us)

Draw at Bournemouth?

Beat comfortably the worst team in the division in S'oton?

Is that a run? Or do we then have to beat the scousers?

How will it? Apparently players can't stand him so how will they be able to get results and play well in spite of him, if that was the case? It would be down to the manager, just as the poor form this season has been.

Now the choice of coach is not his Sullivan refusing to back or trust others. This will lead to no one decent wanting to come so he will say he had  no choice but call Salthouse, Silkman or one of his cronies to get some uninspiring, old, washed up manager in.

welcome Rafa !!!

From approaching other managers to giving Lop the Wolves game and now ultimately, he's got an ambiguous "more time" stay of execution. What a roller coaster 48 hours!

Presume any self-respecting candidate cooled their interest when they learned that the parasitic poisonous porno dwarf only wanted to offer a 6 month contract as a "trial period".

How Sullivan has managed to amass the level of wealth he has is one of the universe's great mysteries and injustices.

Agree with this. Sullivan doing what he does when he makes a mistake....trying to engineer a 'try before you buy' rather than backing his or his employed expert's judgement and going balls deep on the next decision.

He's a timid, risk averse little twat who always wants a 'sure thing' and in doing so gets the surety of mediocrity every time.  Always more bothered with downside than potential upside.

The fans need to turn on him. He'll soon buckle when he's in the cross hairs as he's got no backbone. Spineless little runt.

Show them we are WEST HAM UNITED and we are done with Sullivan.
That might also get us in serious hot water, you know how the FA love to punish us when they get the chance.
Fuck the FA. I don't give a fuck if we do it and they banish us to the conference as long as Sullivan gets disqualified from ownership and forced out. This latest bullshit is the last fucking straw. Lopetegui needs to fucking go we can all see it but the seedy little pornographer is taking us for cunts yet again, well no more. THE FUCKING LINE NEEDS TO BE DRAWN HERE.
