I don't often take notice of the windows, mainly because most of the players linked are paper-talk, ITK nonsense or fan speculation, however, there's lots of talk about unsettled players in the side, so we could see several players move on. 

Soler, Fullkrug and Rodriques apparently haven't settled in London so I would imagine they'd be looking to move on. It's more difficult in Fullkrug's case as his injury doesn't seem to have a return date, which is a very typical thing to happen. 

Apparently the player signing reigns will be taken out of the hands of Steitden, as the power hungry midget blames him for our failed season so far, not himself for employing someone completely until to manage in the PL, and the focus could be on Championship players. To be a little balanced, we have signed some very good players from the second division and it is a gold mine if you know what you're looking for. 

Then there's Paqueta. He's having a stinker of a season and he should be moved on if we can, but I doubt there will be any takers until his case is resolved. Is there a confirmed date for his hearing? 

More importantly, what do we need? A striker should be a top priority, even if it's a loan with an option to buy. The Big German might not be back again and Antonio is less a cart-horse and more a Jackass and reliably unreliable. Some pace in midfield to support Alvarez or Soucek and a new goalie. Fabianski as good as he is too old to start and Alfie Tits is shit, in my opinion. 

I don't watch a great deal of neutral football anymore, so I'm not offering names, but for the TV scouts, bartsoolers and Football Manager aficionados, who's worth the club pursuing?

Id say we still need in January:

LB, CM and a ST.

Not that I see us being able to sign the calibre or right kind of player we need.

Also could do with a few players heading out. Ings and Rodriguez most notably. 

I can see us signing Soler permanently and for me that doesn't really change an awful lot.
Most likely are loans for outcasts elsewhere.
I can 100% see a lot of players in this squad wanting out. We always knew Paqueta was likely to get a substantial ban so he will be gone. Emerson probably as well. Fullkrug looked rusty yesterday and I think will want a loan back to Germany as nobody will buy and Kudus will 100% run for the door and throw a strop if he's not allowed to leave although I think we will hold out for at least the release fee. The reason we put a price on him isn't because we want to sell, it's because he wants to go. 
We really need more power and pace in the middle. Everyone was negative about Soucek at the beginning of the season but he has been one of our best players and is often involved in good stuff we do. It's the likes of Guido, Alvarez and Paqueta who have been disappointing and the only reason Soler is not in there with them is that he hasn't had enough game time. 
We have a lot of players on our books still, the likes of Cornet, Zouma and Aguerd, Cresswell who isn't much more than a cheerleader and Ings who hasn't been shocking in games and has had some chances but clearly isn't the managers choice or maybe has other fitness issues.

I think we can knock the idea of getting a new Left Back on the head. Scarles is perfect to come in when Emerson isn't available or need a change from the Bench. Get in another Left Back and we stifle his progress.

If we are happy to hang around in the lower regions of the Premier league then I'd agree lets not buy in a replacement but most the decent players we have were sold on West Ham by European football and competing for things. Scarles like others isn't yet ready for regular starts. Physically he gets bullied and been caught ball watching a couple of times. I want youth to come through as much as anyone else but lets not kid ourselves at the stage of some of these players development. They do need to be trusted to come on but it would be a whole lot easier to come on in games we control and have a lead in.
These young players aren't stupid either, they will want some wage parity once they become a regular so while they may be cheap cover now they will soon be very well paid youngsters or they will be off elsewhere like others have to make their fortune. 

If Emerson goes we would end up with Wan Bissaka there which isn't the best solution. We do need a proper option there until these up and coming players have developed and can own that starting place.

We need Steidten to resign but I suppose he likes the salary. But its all just for show this Tech Director thing just so Sullivan can keep Kretinski and other board members off his back. That said if Fullkrugs the best he can come up with no wonderes  Sullivan is blantantly going back to gis old recruitment model of him and his sychophant agents getting the players in. Doomed to continued failure like everything Sullivan has ever done in the footballing sense ( we know he had everyones pants down on the stadium and financial side ).

Sullivan just a huge stinking turd we cannot flush. No progress is the only guarantee he brings with his 40 year old model for running a football club

I was never comfortable with such a risky signing to begin with and for once wished Sullivan stepped in and vetoed the move with our painful history with long term injured Strikers. 

Hopefully he makes up for some lost time and scores at least a brace on Saturday.

With rumours that Todibo, Kudus, Paqueta and Emerson all want out, it's going to be a rough january.

They're unlikely to be allowed to leave in January, and almost all nailed on to go in the summer. 

I can't help but not care. Todibo hasn't set the world alight when he's played (will be a world beater elsewhere, you watch), Paqueta has been a liability for a while, Emerson's getting on and Kudus was always destined for great things. As long as the club recoups decent money for them and midget reinvests it, I don't care where. 

The one positive is that JLOP has started to introduce youth. Whether that was planned, forced or to curry favor, we'll never know, but Casey and Scarles acquitted themselves well during their spell against Bournemouth. Hopefully that's a sight of things to come for Orford, Kudua and Potts when the latter two return from loan.

Whoever they get in as our new long-term Keeper, they have to try and make sure they get it spot on. In a possession based Team they are crucial in keeping the game flowing quickly from the back, quality with their feet, as well as shot stopping and catching with their hands. Get it right, then it sets the rest of the Team up. Get it wrong then little comes off and we'll go nowhere fast.

If there’s any truth that we are looking for a keeper. Then John Victor at Botafogo could be worth a go.? There owner needs the wedge for his other team Lyon. And like there striker Igor Jesus. This window looks like being the only one where we would be able to afford either of them.

Definitely don't need a Left Back. Emerson, Scarles and Wan-Bissaka back-up is more than enough now. Clogging up that position with another senior Left Back will make trying to develop Scarles pointless. Now he's been given his Premier League debut and performed well, there's really no need to get another in.
