Probably not a popular comment, but Soucek has probably been our most improved player, with Coufal not far behind.  Wan Bissake looks our best performer in the last few games.  Soler has been decent, Paqueta has lost form but replaced his artistry with a much higher work-rate.  Emerson has gone backwards in the last few games.  Fullkrug is a disappointment but did much better with his assist than he was credited with.

Kudus looks a different player this season, but Summerville has been excellent and really looks a west ham player.

Hope Fabs and Kilman are ok.

So what? 
Bournemouth,Brighton,Fulham,Forest and Brentford are all doing better than expected and good teams who have had some very good results 
I'll rather look at the positives than negative historical views

Because in context, we have had an easy run away, and from the remaining 9 games we will  face 6 clubs that finished above us. You can spin positives all you want. I just pointed out a fact.

Massive Attack has such a hard on for Lopetegui that he's not interested in facts unless they support his pre-determined narrative.

Does seem like the fan club has fewer members after every mediocre performance or puzzling selection. It'll just be him soon, telling the world that we're all.pissed off when we win

Anyway, Soucek is suspended for the Liverpool game, which at least makes things interesting.

He worked hard for the Team helping us keep a clean sheet and managed to pick up yet another war wound on his leg this time for the cause. Full commitment, just what I like to see. 

No one questions his commitment, just his lack of pace and attacking play. 
Unfortunately it seems like Lopetegui is just as defensive minded as Moyes, so against Liverpool we can look forward to 8 players in defence, and Bowen, Kudus and Fullkrug up top.

Nothing like Moyes, we actually try to win games and attack (another 16 efforts at goal), our issue as always is a fully fit  young quality Striker. Instead we've had to rely on old biddie invalids Antonio and Fullcrock.

No one who watches or attends can say we are getting these points because of Lopetegui. It's obvious half the team have very little interest in playing for him, and their value is depreciating because of it (Kudus). He will eventually go of course, nothing is working, we have good players and we are getting results, but it's despite the manager rather than because of him.

It's a shame because with a different appointment and difference manager, our squad is good enough to be above Forest/Bournemouth etc, but it is what it is - a slow march towards the next appointment.

Lotepegui is trying to build the side around Soucek - this is the best it’s going to get and at this rate, it’s about to get a lot worse.
