Re: Freddie Potts goes on loan
Potts is having a good season which he should continue
Come back next summer & hopefully can prove himself under a new manager
With Earthy I’d be looking to get guarantees that he will start during the second half of the season
If not I’d take him out of there & find a Championship club who start him regularly

Re: Freddie Potts goes on loan
What’s promising with Potts is that he was a star at Wycombe in league 1 and has stepped up to the Championship and according to match reports and fan sites ( eg. thepompeychimes.net) has become a very important member of their side. So he’s still developing and while he is not the “legs” we need in central midfield he competes well physically and works hard, quicker than most of our current crop of central midfielders ( not hard admittedly).
In short, looks on course to be a part of next season’s squad. Will he cut it at Premiership level. Honest answer, we don’t really know but he deserves a chance and my “armchair expert” opinion, having watched 2 Pompey games via my “Dodgy Dave” Firestick, is that he would do better than a few of our current squad members.

Re: Freddie Potts goes on loan
That is not the premiership though.
i think he will have a good career at that level but no higher.

1 assist today in a 4-0 smashing of Swansea.
Rating of 7.8 - highest rated player of both teams.

Asked him how he had watched a game that wasn’t televised & skulked off in silence
Probably to join Lady(boy)smith in a threesome with Fat Ange
And they say we're obsessed about their Club.......

League 1 looks to be his level.Struggling so much he has started 17 of 21 league games played.Yeah and how many games have they won?
Of course all the defeats are down to him
I prefer the old posters such as daveyg to these new idiots, it’s clear they don’t follow West Ham. Oh for the good old days when you could row with fellow West Ham fans and not spammers from others clubs.

Not even close to the truth. He's actually been one of their better players and helped them climb off the foot of the table when he arrived. Further context being they are newly promoted as a poor side in the Championship and he's made a difference to them anchoring their midfield.

Decent admin would have removed him by now.Forget all this nonsense about how I am suppose to be a Spurs fan, you tell me why he is going to be good enough for the premiership.
Stop playing the man and address the debate!

I'd be bang up for that! Get it done.
Saw enough of this Argentinian donkey after 30 minutes in to the Chelsea game treading treacle chasing players around the pitch like they stole his dinner money in the playground. He was so fucking bad he even got subbed off in that 1st half with no injury. Up there in the Roberto stakes as 1 of the worst West Ham signings ever.

Re: Freddie Potts goes on loan
What? The Pompey fans rave about him. He won player of the year the season before at Wycombe.
Get him back and in the side. It looks like he is going to be some player.

Re: Freddie Potts goes on loan
He doesn't need to be good enough to play in the Premier League today, that's why he's out on loan.
He just needs to grow and improve whilst he's out gaining first team experience and then the people that are paid to make these decisions will have an idea whether he has the potential to step up or not.
