So Emerson is our winger, so he can slot back into a 5-line defence (which seems permanent)
Chin up mate. They're currently the best team in the strongest football continent in the world. Don't be surprised an average Premier League team in a season is transition is hugely under the cosh here, or has setup expecting to be so.

Could have shipped 4 goals already. Defensive lineup biting his arse surprisingly.
We have 11 players , that have a team
I read somewhere recently that our players don't meet outside of the training ground and then again on match Day. That's no way to build team spirit...and it shows. We always play as 11 individuals not a team.
Wan Bissaka is a fucking embarrassment running back. He's been good for us but I'd get rid. The guy needs a fucking rocket up his arse. Every time the ball is turned over he trots back with no urgency or care in the world.
The bloke is either thick or disgustingly lazy. Might be good one Vs one but has zero situational awareness. Get shot.
If you are going to put AWB left back to cope with Salah then he needs to stick to him like glue. Three times he has got in to either have a chance himself or create for others. Far too easy.
I guessed he’d shoe horn Coufal im who will be murdered for pace by Diaz and play Emerson out of position and Kudus out of position and probably Paqueta in an advanced position which is not his strengrh
Certainly don't think Tim Steidten is the messiah. You could argue the only recent signing that's shown any sort of consistency is AWB. Lop clearly has an issue with Todibo. But it's West Ham so anything can happen.

Mavros at the back , is like having a Gap. Mind the Gap ! I wonder why on Earth did we buy Guilherme in the first place , if we have him wrapped in cotton wool. 3-1 for the Hammers , If their players all have hangovers.
From what I've read he's been very underwhelming in training. Another 20 million wasted, possibly.

The midfield is the one that many have clamoured for since game 1 (Alvarez at 6, with two playmakers).
Coufal is a better wing back than AWB and put better crosses in, AWB is supposedly a great defender who struggles going forward, but has shown he can and in possession can move out into the fullback spot and push forward.
The line up least favours Kilman who prefers to cover.
Up front, many have wanted Kudus to play at 9...but I suspect he'll line up in a line of 4 with Paqueta right wing, Bowen central and Kudus left wing.
But let's see. It's a line up I'm prepared to give a chance with Soler, Kudus, Paqueta, Bowen all offensive players, Coufal and Emerson both better going forward, and a back line with a central player capable of stepping out into the wide channel.
Am actually hoping there that Mavro plays right side CB and AWB plays left side CB as on balance that will give us more.
