Trying to work out if we are playing quite well going forward or whether this is derfinitely not the City of old!  Summerville looking dangerous, Kudus needs his shooting boots on, Paqueta looking poor again, losing the ball too much.  Like to say wer have a chance but not sure we can keep it at one.

Stupid individual errors and poor decision making notwithstanding, generally a better shape and balance because the moron has made better selections today.

Kudus rivalling Paqueta in rhe shit stakes

if we go 2 down, however, it'll be a bloodbath

Isn't interesting to see how much better our CD's are performing when we aren't laying so deep, keep pushing in midfield, and try to attack?

Right up until we chucked 1 in our goal I thought the opening spell we actually did alright. Passed it around nicely, 2 efforts on goal Kudus and Soucek that they should have done better with.

Kudus also takes the Offside Award well and truly off Cornet now. Geezers a lazy joke when it comes to looking across the line to stay on.

Alvarez isn't the same player under Lop as he's being asked to chase back and cover for the defence playing a high line.
Not his game at all as he's slow and has been exposed and thrown under the bus.
Not sure why we are persisting with tactics that don't suit our players and have been proven to be a failure.

We may not win this but we are scoring at least one against this lot. Summerville's Pace is giving them all sorts of problems and leaving kudus open. Have a feeling if they find fullkrug he'll punish them

Slow as arseholes in this League and not good at passing. Shame as I like his attitude but just not good enough and too expensive. Sell.

I'll be glad to see the back of Areola too.

Sir Alf" wrote: 04 Jan 2025, 14:49 Scorch, Sullivan is psychologically unable to admit he is wrong. He’s not even willing to be wrong. Only time he edged in that direction was around the time of all the protests when a club statement said something like “some mistakes may have been made”.  That was said thru gritted teeth but he was cornered and getting coined at a home game.

Lopetegui is here unless we go 6 or more consecutive defeats or we get close to ir drop into the relegation zone.

You’re right. He will never admit his culpability for anything. In his head anything positive is down to him and anything negative is someone else’s fault. If anything he’s going to stick his grubby fingers in even more and double down on his choices.

I just wonder if losing this and our next three games finally be enough to shame him into acting. Even though it’ll be something with no strategic thought behind it. Picking a cheap or available name out of a hat whether they are suitable or not.
