I think a lot of fans would like to give Scarles a go instead of that on pegged cսnt.
Also, Bissaka is far better on the right
AWB is better on the right, but starting Scarles wouldn’t be fair on the kid. So it’s either AWB at LB or Cresswell.

Very easy to assume something would be completely different without any proof.
We actually started well and should have been ahead. Unfortunate OG changed the game.

Does all the hard running and excellent work, only for his pal to fuck it up time and again when Summerville puts him through. I'd be fucking fuming with him for being so wasteful in possession or getting caught offside time and again.

Agree, a shocking keeper at this level. never did like him.

Areola is treating every shot and cross like a penalty
he’s commiting himself and guessing where the balls going to go
get the cսnt off the pitch now

Thing is, we all know Coufal is too slow in a team that no longer sits in a low block.  Both goals he was a key factor in. Even the first. That split second quicker and he gets the block in. The second one he’s done for pace as predicted.  Although letting Haaland drift off at the back is a problem too.

Kudus is not going to be stepping up to fill the gap left by Bowen.

A shadow of what he was. Now beimg physically muscled off it and when gets chances he makes wrong decisions or simply does not have the shooting technique to hit the target. No way we’re gettong £85 mill.  Needs to syart playong for the team not for Kudus Inc.

This is the weakest City team we’ve played in a while and some if what we’ve tried has been good but we lack quality in several positions and the lack of athleticism in central midgiekd continues to be our biggest problem.

I said 4-0 City and will stick with that.

Have been pretty decent between each box but just been dreadful inside them. We look like we could play for hours and not score, whilst every attack is a relief if we can clear it.

Coufal, Areola and Kilman all at fault for the second.

I said on here the other week that Fullkrug could be useful and knock in a couple, well happy to hold my hands up there, the fella is a walking fucking disaster and makes Iain Dowie look like Marco Van Basten. Someone needs to be accountable for this signing.

Yeah, this must have been unfair to Scarles. Picking Coufal was a great idea!

Would laugh out loud if he was replaced with Scarles 2nd half

Both goals gift wrapped by Coufal and Areola

Coufal is finished as a premier league player.

So we'll probably do a Cresswell with him next season.

2-0 is a very flattering scoreline.
Thought we were bright and aggressive at times and should have scored at least one.

Unfortunately, we have Soucek, Coufal and Fullkrug who are complete dogshit.

Were doing ok. But that second will finish it. Only bright spot is Summerville. He has been having some game so far. I’d take Paqueta and Coufal off second half. And start thinking about giving some youngsters some game time.

Dont actually think we've been that bad considering. The ref has been dogshit, massive deflection and one bit of quality and we are two down.

If Kudos could actually have any sort of end product, could have been very different.

The second we deserved. Kilman let Haaland go free at the back post and coufal got done for pace, if you can believe that

Well that’s it then. Our pathetic run of results against the ‘big’ clubs continues.
why has this prick of a coach swapped the wingers round?
Kudus is a brain dead dickhead

How can you sub a player at half time one game then include him in the starting line up the next?

Be Lotepegui and play Coufal, that’s how.

Fucking hell.

RootsRadical wrote: 04 Jan 2025, 15:27 Alvarez isn't the same player under Lop as he's being asked to chase back and cover for the defence playing a high line.
Not his game at all as he's slow and has been exposed and thrown under the bus.
Not sure why we are persisting with tactics that don't suit our players and have been proven to be a failure.
I think Alvarez is going to have a difficult time continuing in this league as a defensive mid if that's the case. I suspect his pace is more exposed now that we don't sit so deep as we did with Moyes and not a lot of teams pay that way.
