Re: Sean Dyche sacked
Drew with Chelsea, Arsenal & Man City in the last few weeks but have been completely unable to score
Feel a bit sorry for him as think he has done what he could with the resources to hand
Quite keen for D Moyes to return & take them down into the Championship so they can open the new stadium at home to Luton

Re: Sean Dyche sacked
I would love for Everton to appoint Moyes.
If they get the version of Moyes from when he left West Ham they are going to be in trouble.
In his last 19 he managed to win 4 games, draw 7 and lose 8. His GD for those games was -17 having conceded 44 goals.

Wealthy new owners, just about to move into a new stadium and they wheel out this dusty old dinosaur. You'd think the owners would want better to start a new era and show some intent and imagination, but it would be funny.I understand it though, they want a perceived safe pair of hands. Imagine their grand opening of the new shiny stadium being in the championship?
Yea that's fair, probably why a short term deal is being muted.

I don’t think He’ll take them down. I don’t think he’ll take them anywhere exciting either. For Everton it’s all about a safe pair of hands to get them to their new ground as a premeier league side.

interesting rumor going around though that the new owners also interested in none other than Sir Gareth to be the new gaffer, the special one is a non-starter though, new owners have already sacked him (Roma) once!!!!![]()
Southgate wouldn't be interested.
If Moyes is asked (likely) he ain't gonna say 'no' is he? As for the faithful up there, have the impression they are pretty much split on Moyes. I hope it happens anyway.

Re: Sean Dyche sacked
I have no doubts Everton would have at least enquired about Potter. Genuinely feel Potter sees us as a more attractive option, and think being London based and not too far from his home also played a part.
Some reports are suggesting Moyes is all but done and will be announced today, initially on a short term deal.

Re: Sean Dyche sacked
Did see a lot if stuff that they wanted Potter and were gutted when he decided to join us, if he did have talks or was approached maybe says more for us than them or he could see they are a bit of a basket case, even with new owners?
Thought Dyche had done ok TBH, didn't have much or any money to strengthen the squad and they are at least staying just above the drop zone, so a bit of a gamble by the new owners in my opinion.
Fuck knows who they get in, and pint of bothered............but Everton legend Rooney is available

Apart from Soton other clubs down there showing some fight, so not too outside the realms. Smart money says they stay up again, but they need to get this appointment right.

Re: Sean Dyche sacked
An easily dislikeable and horrible cսnt, managing a team of horrible cunts (I still remember the tackle on Payet), playing as second fiddle to another team of horrible cunts, in a City (predominantly) populated by horrible cunts.
Shame.
Shame.

Re: Sean Dyche sacked
More compo to pay out and put towards PSR concerns. Although I suppose that doesn't kick in until the following year? All gets confusing and even Clubs don't always know what they're doing with it at times and end up with points deductions or the strong threat of it. Be interesting to see how it pans out there.

Been listening to TS. Majority of Everton fans wanted Dyche gone and also majority did not want Moyes. Don't blame them. Both a pair if dinosaurs.
