We look SO much more organised. You can see the structure. Sitting compact but not dropping too deep. It already looks like everyone knows what they should be doing.

Definite three at the back with AWB. You can see a definite structure with Soucek and Alvarez in front of them. 

I just have this feel of genuine excitement about us for the first time in ages.

We can call Potts back from Pompey apparently? Hopefully Potter does. Likes to use youngsters and Potts is the most advanced in his development and ahead of Scarles, Earthy and Orford.

I suppose it was either Scarles starting, or AWB on the left and Coufal on the right.

I actually think this is as good a game as any to see what Scarles is made of.

Really not much to be gleaned from his first line up with only 24 hours prep. But inclusion of Scarles sends a positive signal to all young players at the club. Scarles might make mistakes positionally but he can hopefully be used in the “get up and down” role like Potter did with Lamptey at Brighton who was really used as an attacking player.  But probably too early for that but lets see.  At least its something to get excited about
