Same old problem with no pace, being too easy to play through and then individual errors.
It’s a MASSIVE problem for us.
The lack of pace through the centre of the pitch is shocking. Most of us could walk past a running Kilman over 10 yards - he’s that slow. Mav isn’t quick, either, and is moronically hesitant and indecisive.
It’s the worst CB pairing I’ve seen for a long time. I cannot believe that Aguerd was in any way worse than these two.
Add the lack of legs in central midfield, too, and the scale of the problem becomes obvious.
Good first half, ruined by injuries. And then the old problems came back to haunt us. Potter has a lot to unpick.
It’s a dead season now. Time to start the gradual rebuild - kick out the shit and ageing dead wood in the next two windows. But the manager, tech director and chairman need to co-ordinate over the sort of players we need and the sort of team we want to be.
No more of the Scattergun shite, with Lope, Steidten and Sullivan wandering off in different directions.
