That's my only concern about him and because of the injury concerns we keep having regarding Strikers, I'm out.

How much do Forest want for him?

Young and reasonably injury free Strikers please, West Ham/Steidten!

Makes me laugh how quickly the narrative changes.

In the summer and for the past couple of seasons, we were seen as having two really good keepers.

Now suddenly, we’re desperate for a new keepers.

I wonder if we're being proactive, for once, and working on a GOALTENDER we can bring to the club in the summer?

Because it's another position where it's blindly obvious that we'll need to strengthen.

Think our most realistic options will be a couple of players on Loan.

Need another CB. Not sure about Mavrapanois and Todibo seems to get injured alot? Plus we are obligated to buy him for 40m come the summer.

Mental!

Reading his wiki page, he sounds like a complete wrongun. In addition, his stats are getting worse every year.

One to avoid.
Agreed, would also question why Lens and then Marseille are happy to let him go. Been stung too many times with moody french cunts. Avoid
Been said he's been offered to us but we've not taken it any further than that. Can't see him being brought in.

I wouldn’t mind us getting Latte Lath from Middlesbrough. Not least because we could sing Get a Goal Latte Lath, to the tune of Whole Lotta Love.

Sullivan “razzle dazzle” posturing. Make a bid and ensure media knows and fans know. No chance if getting him for financial reasons (PSR / FFP ) and Sullivan probably doing this to try to somehow make it look like it wasnt him that scuppered the bid process in the summer by balking at the 40 million or so fee Villa were asking for.  I also seem to recall a rumour that Silkman or Salthouse had pointed out that Duran was risky and not worth the price with so little Premiership experience.

Anyway its a non story / rumour in reality. We are looking for loans so for a striker I’m not expecting anyone too exciting or proven quality.   Central midfield is as important imo and perhaps a loan is possible for that area.   Chukawunka at Chelsea or whatever is name is might be worth a punt ? Prefer him to Dewsbury Hall just for his athleticism, physicality and “legs”. Loan to buy?

Surely we have literally zero chance of this. They'd want 80m+ now and more likely to want to shift Watkins.

Classic Sullivan of so....the ship that's sailed we waste time on chasing.

If we sign Kieran Dewsbury-Hall. we must go and get Rueben Livesey-Austin. Just so our starting line up looks like a class from Oxford Uni.

Now we are back at square one with Sullivan choosing who comes in and out, with a lot of help from Salthouse, Silkman and Mackay, I fully expect to be underwhelmed, disappointed once we see them on the pitch or simply astounded by the stupidity financially, their age or injury record as the aforementioned agents see a way to remove some dead wood and has beens off their books.

Dewsbury Hall is, as mentioned, ok but unlikely to provide the physical strength, stamina, athleticism and speed missing from central midfield imo.

Of the strikers mentioned so far we’d be better trying  Kudus centrally and give the young Brazilian more minutes out wide.

Sullivan as DOF was a complete failure for 11 years and will be once again

The Hard Tackle

West Ham United in transfer tussle to sign Reuben Livesey-Austin

West Ham United are among a host of clubs chasing National League gem Rueben Livesey-Austin from Havant & Waterlooville.

According to Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, National League side Havant & Waterlooville are expecting multiple clubs to make approaches for their shining left-back Reuben Livesey-Austin. The 20-year-old has West Ham United in the mix, while two more Premier League clubs, as well as a handful of Championship sides, are keeping tabs.

It’s not often that a National League player gets the attention of top clubs from higher tiers. In the Premier League alone, there are very few prominent names who have come through the ranks of non-league football and rose to prominence to the top tier to perform well here.

The names of Ian Wright, Michail Antonio, and, more prominently, Jamie Vardy stand out in that regard. It tends to show how difficult it is to bring talent from lower leagues and on to the top flight, although there’s one name that could make that cut in the coming period.

Havant & Waterlooville, who ply their trade in the Southern National League, are bracing for approaches from some of the higher-tier clubs for their promising left-back Rueben Livesey-Austin. The player is thought to have impressed with his performances for the National League side, playing a key role in their current season.

The indication is that he plays with a level of maturity not seen much in non-league football, which has attracted the attention of several clubs. From the Premier League, West Ham, Southampton, and Brighton are keen. At the same time, other clubs like Middlesbrough, Charlton, Cardiff City and Peterborough United have all shown an interest, meaning there’s a definite chance of Livesey-Austin leaving his current club.

West Ham chasing Rueben Livesey-Austin

West Ham United are understood to be leading the race for the 20-year-old left-back gem and are ahead of their rivals in the chase. New boss Graham Potter has a reputation for developing players of unknown quantity, and Livesey-Austin might be in that category.

The Hammers are eager to bring in players with high potential and help aid their development into some top names for the future. The 20-year-old left-back could be seen as a solid enough prospect who might have some level of impact, as the Londoners are widely expected to make an approach in this window.

Dewsbury Hall as a box to box midfielder is better than anything else we have. Certainly more energy than Soler which appreciate isn’t too difficult. No world beater but improves our midfield.

sooner Soler and Rodriguez are sent back to where they came from the better. The Talk of signing Soler permanently is concerning but wouldn’t surprise me! Seems to fit the clubs transfer policy at the moment with its lack of direction.

Our best serving players in recent years have been either from the academy (not many) and mainly from the Championship.

not following the Championship at all but surely there must be a couple of young promising HG players from there that can improve us? Looking at our 30+ strikers and our slow midfield I’m sure there will be.

after wasting 130 million in the summer doubt we have much left to spend.

scarles looked good against Villa so hopefully Potter continues to give him game time so we can see if he makes the grade. Early signs seem to be that he will.
