Sullivan has revealed there's at least £57M to spend out of the FFP pot. Not that he'd spend it all mind but it is there swilling about.

Galatasaray's Barış Alper Yılmaz decision! West Ham United's offer was rejected

Galatasaray turned down West Ham United's offer to add Barış Alper Yılmaz to their squad in a mid-season transfer window.

Barış Alper Yılmaz, who played a major role in the team's continued progress without a loss in all 3 races with his performance at Galatasaray this season, is also being closely followed by European clubs.

MARKET VALUE INCREASED 20 TIMES

Barış Alper, who signed for the red and yellow team while playing for the 1st League team Keçiörengücü 3.5 years ago, has shown tremendous development in the intervening period. So much so that, according to Transfermarkt data, the star football player's market value, which was 1 million Euros when he played for Keçiörengücü in 2021, has now increased 20 times to 20 million Euros.

West Ham United stepped in for the 24-year-old player, who has demonstrated his career performance with 11 goals and 1 assist in 28 official matches this season. The English team offered 30 million Euros for the national player, 25 million Euros guaranteed and 5 million Euros bonus.

'BARIŞ IS INDISPENSABLE, COME IN THE SUMMER'

However, the management rejected West Ham United's offer, stating that Barış Alper Yılmaz is one of the most important players of the team in reaching both the 25th championship in the Super League and the final goals in the UEFA Europa League this season. The situation of the 24-year-old player, who has a contract until June 2027, is expected to be re-evaluated during the summer transfer period.

Barış Alper, who plays in 5 different positions at G.SARAY, right wing, left wing, center forward, left back and right back, did not disappoint Okan Buruk's trust in him, no matter where he plays. Barış, who occasionally plays as a joker this season, also stood out with his scorer identity.

The Caravan park is an urban myth. To think we replaced him with Iain Dowie.

WELL WE TRIED OUR BEST TO GET IT OVER THE LINE BUT THE SELLING CLUB JUST DIDN'T WANT TO SELL THE PLAYER. Time for that one to come out of the bag I think.

Sorry mate you missed out, "working tirelessly, no stone unturned", which also comes out every year. I believe Sean Wetwipe may have quoted his "senior source" on the working tirelessly bollocks already but may just be having flashbacks.

I just can't wait to see Callum Wilson limping down the corridor of Roding Spire Hospital (Andy Carroll/ Nikolas Fulkrug/ Kieran Dyer ward, take your pick) as Sullivan's latest "gift striker" for the manager survives the medical then goes on a permanent sicky.

Potts better than a World Cup winner, a Spanish international, and someone who has over 200 appearance for us and a European trophy to boot?

Turn it in FFS.

Did I read that Neymar ‘earned’ about £100m in Saudi last year & managed to play about an hour of football?

I would not pay £80m for Jhon Duran, he's looks great but he's played about 15-20 games at most i believe. It's a lot of money if he is a one season wonder. Also if he's a £80m striker why has no one else come in for him, so many top clubs want top strikers? For once, just once maybe Sully is right to only go below valuation

West Ham Eye Giant Dutch Striker as Derisory Duran Bid Fails

Following West Ham’s failed bid for Jhon Duran, another target has emerged. Emanuel Emegha, a Dutch Under 21 striker playing for Strasbourg with 7 goals in 13 appearances, and 2 assists.

The 6ft 5” forward began his professional career at Sparta Rotterdam in 2020 before moving to Royal Antwerp. A transfer to Sturm Graz followed in 2022 where he scored 9 goals in 31 games. This alerted Strasbourg in 2023 who paid €13m to secure him on a five year contract.

West Ham have lodged an enquiry, however any deal may be difficult to finalise before the end of the transfer window. Blueco who own Chelsea and Strasbourg are reportedly not yet ready to cash in, and a move to Stamford Bridge is more likely in the summer.

However, with Kyle Macaulay joining West Ham from Chelsea to help with transfers, this link may develop. There are also some connections between both clubs as their President is ex West Ham player Marc Keller and the Head Coach is Liam Rosenior who is the son of former West Ham forward Leroy Rosenior.

There are a number of other targets that West Ham are also monitoring including Swiss International, Breel Ombolo at Monaco, and Genk forward, Tolu Arokodare.

For central midfield, West Ham haven’t given up on signing Ezechiel Banzuzi, yet do have the option to terminate Freddie Potts loan spell at Portsmouth which is a possibility should we not secure a player in his position.

hahah Neymar is so Sullivan.  He might eventually get his man.  Who cares if it's 15 years too late, that he's injured, or that he'll cost a shit load of money?  haha

Classic RAZZLE DAZZLE move. I can't imagine it being anything other than an utter car crash. Isn't he always injured, on top of being an enormous selfish cսnt to even rival Ronaldo in those stakes?

Won't happen anyway. The story that we are 'after him' is out now so we can make sure we don't get the deal done. Mission accomplished for the dwarf because he will think this reflects well on him. It is a classic Sullivan signing though. Old, past it, expensive, no resale value. There is NO WAY Graham Potter will want Neymar disrupting his dressing room and wrecking what team spirit we still have.
