Leicester by far the worst team we've seen at home for a long time, even the most limited of teams know you can cause us trouble at home but Leicester were so timid.

As for Ferguson's chance. The way he tried to take it made him look either very one footed or low on confidence.

It wasn't very entertaining, but we were very professional and did a good job. I'm ok with that for now. There's allways a good chance of that when the opposition sets up like Leicester did. I'm happy I can see a few players are improving. It will be interesting to see how Potter brings back our more attacking players like Paqueta, Summervilla and Fullkrug. Will he get us playing more entertaining attacking football?

Not his team, not his players. Once he has a stamp on transfers we’ll see the type of manager he is.

There’s been an upgrade in performances since he game in and style of play. It’s not like watching a David Moyes side, so while we may not be swashbuckling every week, it’s better than it’s been for a while.
Yea maybe a little better, but the bar was very low. We've seen plenty of managers come in at other clubs with the same players and turn it around way better than what Potter has, he himself has said he has good players to work with etc. A dire Leicester at home and most of the game was passing sideways and backwards, hardly anything created, fans bored shitless as usual. I know what I was watching and it was crap. His subs were shit too.

I can't believe anyone left that bowel last night buzzing after seeing a good evening of PL football. Potter keeps harping on about connecting with the fans etc claiming he knows what we want to see and we have to watch something resembling a testimonial. I assume you didn't go?

Like I say, I'll give Potter some credit if we beat Newcastle, or at least look like a side than can hurt teams.

Stroll in the park and an underwhelming easy win. Nice to be on the other end for a change.

Fuck all to moan about as far as we’re concerned. Professional performance all round.

Next couple of games will be a good measure of where we are at

Anyway, Onwards and Upwards!

There was NO OPPONENT, I watched the highlights and it was shit. Why do we always pass backwards and the way we are facing?

Let's see what happens when we actually have an opponent to play against Monday week.

was about as 'Regulation Home Banker' of a win as you'd expect. Couldn't watch live but the highlights suggest they look really shit and we just took advantage and not much more required. Professional performance and next game will tell us more

All I'll say about this is that if Mubama had stayed here, he would currently be the best fit striker at the club and as a result would be starting every game. In tonight's game, he'd have excelled.

I don't blame him for moving when he did, he couldnt see the future.

There was no clear path for him at that time. I know who I'm blaming for that.
Mubama couldn’t hit a cows arse what a banjo from a yard away. Absolute pony and nowhere near premier leagues standard, he wouldn’t have excelled against Leicester, Southampton or Ipswich
he'll end up at Wealdstone ...if he's lucky

For everyone moaning about how shit this Leicester side are, they thumped us 3-1 at their gaff 3 months ago. the only real difference being that we have fewer attacking options and a new manager. It could be worse. Lopetegui could still be in charge.

Good to win at the London. A win against the barcodes and we’re showing progress. Please let it be so.

A solid win - they didn’t let a glove on us.

We didn’t really need to get out of first gear. Which is ideal, because we don’t yet have a second gear.

But I’m not going to grumble about a 2-0 win and another clean sheet.

Potter has started to get a tune out of some of these players, which bodes well.

"Ferguson should be starting"
"This game is crying out for Ferguson"
"Put Ferguson on Potter you cսnt"

later that same evening...

"Ferguson you useless cսnt"

so that's 10 points from 7 games for Potter.

We'd have 40 points if Flopetegui had managed the same

It’s the West Ham way.
Can’t disagree with that. Sure it wasn’t too exciting but only two months ago we were getting outplayed at Southampton and sneaking a lucky 1-0 just before two fucking thumpings. This was absolute control. They couldn’t lay a glove on us. It’s a lot of progress.

I expect us to build on it more in the next few weeks and add more of a cutting edge against teams who are going to sit deep.
