Although animals are required BY LAW to be stunned (so they don't feel the pain) before slaughter in the UK, they do have exceptions!!!! Certain Religions is anyone surprised to learn.............And i doubt any Politician in the UK would have the balls to try and change this, even though it should be, cries of Islamophobe or antisemite would be screamed.

Current UK law requires animals to be stunned before slaughter, so they don't feel pain. However, Jewish and Muslim communities aren't required by law to stun animals before slaughter.
