Potter must know him better than anyone, why would he bring in a bertie big bollocks/permanent cripple  to mess up his new job.
Yup I think the attitude is a long shot. Just trying to think of reasons he’s getting so little game time. I expect it’s just injury related. I suppose he must have passed a medical but just can’t play for more than 30 mins at most. Or Potter was under the impression he’d stay for next season when he arrived but had found out otherwise since and now sees no point in playing him. Brighton probably can’t be over the moon with it if he is actually fit.

Fuck knows. it’s all just a bit weird. Even for us. Be very interesting to see if Fullkrug leapfrogs him when he’s back.

Watching the extended highlights we do look a lot better defensively, although still prone to the odd fuck up, thought we had the better chances, but we still can't seem to wrap up games, 2 points dropped IMO.

Would like to see Potter give some youngsters some game time and try a few things, not like we are going down, so use these last games to develop for next season, it's all petering out to be another lost season though 😐

If he can get more match time and maybe a goal or two in those games, then he might get more than 15 minutes on the pitch for us.
It'll be very interesting to see what happens with that actually. How much game time he gets and how good he looks.

Of course the alternative to other theories about his disappointing spell so far is that he's fit to play but come over with a billy big bollocks attitude that Potter and the rest of the team don't like, so he's simply not getting used. I think there have been a few questions about his attitude, so if he's just using this loan to get match fit and mouthing off about going to a big team in the summer 'stepping stone' indeed then it wouldn't be a surprise if hes been given short shrift.

Yeah Todibo is looking like the player we hoped he was going to be!  I like the way he supports the wide player going forward, gives them an out ball. One of the new intake to keep I think!

Thought Todibo was excellent today.

the balance of the side still isn’t quite right but at least we’re not conceding two+ goal every week.

thought Everton were rubbish, just put it in the channels for Beto etc etc.

It makes no sense in loaning him and then barely using him if he’s not crocked unless it’s to drive the price down. But he’s looked pretty useless in the short time he’s had- lots of that due to zero service from the midfield. Even at 20-30 mill he looks like a hell of a gamble on current evidence. There’s no way the instruction is ‘play like you don’t know what’s going on around you so we can grab you for nowt’. Not the answer at all I think.
He was an excellent prospect a few years ago. But he’s had big problems with both ankles, and he’s barely kicked a ball lately.

Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. I feel for him, as he was talented. But his body has broken down on him regularly, considering his youth, and he’s clearly not fit even now.

We don’t need another injury-plagued forward. Even on the cheap in the summer. It’s a waste of wages against FSR etc.
Couldn’t agree more. Occam’s razor. There’s no way we’re playing silly games with Brighton over him. It is a shame really given his age if he’s a permanent crock but at least this loan was risk free and it now makes all the sense in the world we didn’t push for an obligation to buy. If any club should have learned about buying crocks it should be us so I hope we stay well clear unless we can get him for absolute peanuts in fee and wages. If he can’t get near our starting 11 with no other fit striker at the club except Ings, he sure as shit isn’t starting for Brighton.

This loan is surely leading up to getting him on the cheap in the summer.
or it makes no sense.

Why would we want him, though?

He’s barely kicked a ball, he’s not fit, he’s broken.

Basically a Norwegian Blue.

what club loans a player that isn't, and can't get fit? makes you wonder the reason (£££✉️) for doing it? surely the point of a loan is having the cսnt available to play?

then why the earthly fuck is he here?  we have a habit of signing players who we never play
I think the Ferguson signing was just to appease the fans.

Fullcrock had just got injured, and with Antonio out, they probably felt like they had to at least bring some sort of striker in.

When you think about it, its nuts that the club would bring in a player "Just to appease the fans", but on the other hand can you imagine the uproar if we hadn't bought anyone in the window given our predicament? that said we need to back him with at least some game time. I'd prefer we targeted a player, say around now, that the we (The Coaching staff and NOT Sullivan) think will really improve us. We've self harmed  by the club wrecking deals for decent players and panic buying "to appease the fans"
The signing just makes no sense otherwise with there being no clause to sign him permanently.

We’re 17 points above Ipswich with just nine games left. We’re basically safe.

Its an ideal time to give players like Josh Ajala some minutes, the odd half etc.

If you’re not going to blood some youngsters in these circumstances, then you rarely will. Hope Potter has this in mind.

I don’t want to see Ferguson - what’s the fucking point? I want to see Ajala.

Can't help but think that Kudus is trying too hard and it's affecting his attitude and his selfishness.

Needs to learn when to pass and when to do his own thing.

We know the player that he can be and he's still a handful but somethings not right.

Yep. We need a proper striker. One that isn’t 108 years-old or made of Lego.
