"I thought we were good against Villa should have won it but not this one, the same West Ham way we won’t travel well. 3-1."

Haha well I suppose Ive resigned myself to accepting he’ll never be benched :-). Phillips would have been a good replacement but we got the past it / broken version of that player. JWP form also fallen off a cliff and Tommy playing well by his standards recently gets him in by default. Never thought that would happen and he’s still a weak point in midfield if we ever want to keep the ball for more than 30% in a game but Moyes doesnt play that way. Hopefully he gets replaced next season with a new coach but Im not banking on it :-(

Sir Alf Does this mean you're now a fan of 'super' Tom as you think that's our best team :-)

We had our best team out against Villa and only 30% possession means having to defend very well. But we let too many in nowadays and just look too slow in much of what we do. I will be surprised and delighted if we get anything from the game despite their poor form.

"This strikes me as one of them ''got a bad feeling about this'' games. Early KO up there, Howe needs a win and we weren't that good against Villa. I see a defeat here."

"One of our better performances last season, they took an early lead, we equalised were the better team then sunk back to defend the point and hung on by our finger nails after he took Paqueta off. Sound familiar? At home to them this season was the reverse of that a bit like the Villa game where we were totally dominated second half but he brought Kudus on with 15 minutes to go after we hadn't had a shot on goal for about 60 minutes odd, and he rescued a point for us, sound familiar. Can't put my finger on why fans want Moyes out.."

"Our form up there hasn't been too bad in recent years. W2 D2 L2 in the last 6. As for Newcastle, their loss of Nick Pope to injury is akin to ours of Fabianski in the last months of Pellegrini's reign. Since he got injured they've only won 4 in 14 games in the PL, conceding 34 goals. Perfect time to play them as long as your team likes to attack and doesn't sit back all game. Oh..."

"Newcastle haven';t been in the best of form, and Batman is out for 9 months. We should go there and attack from the kick off - shut the home crowd up with an early goal and cruise to a 0-4 win."
