"Moyes will blame the 2nd pen for us losing and the game turning. NUFC were struggling against us. We dropped down a gear, took Antonio off brought on Philips. Shocking management from Moyes (yet again)."

"Can't even get angry about it anymore, we are such a shambles and it has been the most elementary mistakes from the club that have put us in this position. Moyes should have been gone two years ago and Phillips was the most obviously telegraphed calamity transfer out there - and the idiot still did it! I don't care if we lose every game from now on, I aint watching any of it, it's just a shame we won't have European football next season because that's been good. If we've still got Moyes next season I'm alright with not bothering with football until he's gone, it's no fun regardless of result under this clown. Die in a fire Moyesie son!"

"When Kalvin came on my reaction was ""OH SHIT"". Yet again Moyles take Antonio at the 65-70 in a winning position and in the end we dropped points. Putting that waste of space (Kelvin) to tighten our midfield where by right we should have maintained our attacking option. Even Alex Ferguson wouldn't change an attacking formation from a winning position till the 80-85 minute. I mean we score before the break and immediately after the break. Newcastle were on the ropes but he Stupid t**t (Moyles) thought it was game over. I would have put Cornet or Ings around ""Fergie Time""."

Surely no one can defend Moyes for those ‘tactical’ subs. Taking the lead then handing it back is what Dave does

"When he was bringing Phillips on I thought it was going to be for Prowse . I was absolutely angry that he took of Antonio. Even if your taking off Antonio put on ings. As I did't want to see Bowen or Paqueta playing the lone striker. We gifted the game to them. Also the penalties were bollox. Just put your foot in front of the clearing player and get a pen? But Philips wanted the extra touch in the penalty area if he cleared in the first place he wouldn't have even been in the situation, what is t now he cost us 3 -4 goals and getting sent off. He really is becoming a liability."

"If the idea with Phillips was to strengthen the midfield it failed miserably! He did nothing except give the pen, he didn’t know what to do with the hall; he was WTA dining still; didn’t have a clue what was around him in the box! Issak had so much time and space in the centre to slot that ball through to Barnes it was embarrassing! Absolute disgusting capitulation! Phillips for Antonio, never again surely!"

"Forget he lamentable Rob Jones, again, and his ridiculous support team, if there is an argument that it's time to say thank you and goodbye to Moyes then that is it. To take a striker off at 3-1 up and then have to put another striker on at 3-4 down means you have ballsed it up big time. One guy you want to have on the pitch when you are ahead and probably going to get counter opportunities is Antonio, especially when you have someone like Paqueta behind him pinging missiles to run on to., What you don't do is take that bustling forward off and replace him with your playmaker at centre forward! If you are going to bring on Phillps at all then replace Soucek who was on a yellow. You don't stick your one guy who can keep possession up front on his own! Even the ""Moyes can organise his defence"" brigade can't even defend that. Moyes couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag. Dreadful game management."

"The 2nd one is never a penalty, but Moyes lost that. 3-1 up against a team dropping like flies and completely changes shape to bring on another defensive midfielder to give up all ascendency. The bloke is a coward and a tactical moron."

"Not defending Phillips, who surely has made the worst start to a career here for an outfield player in living memory, but that ""penalty"" should've been a free kick to us and was a fucking outrageous decision even by the poor standards of officiating these days."

"Wonder if Moyes will hold his hands up to the part he played in turning the game? Dont hold yer breath. I keep telling myself that this loss and manner of it might lead to Steidten being able to build a squad and getting a coach to use it far better. Although VAR didnt help, Moyes tactical inflexibility and lack of reactive changes cost us the game in reality. Of course it also exposed the weaknesses in the team and poor squad or mack if a squad he has developed. Coufal, JWP ( invisible and weak ), Zouma ( passing ) limitations most obvious but the bench yad ni game changers. That said Moyes would not ever change a game once in front. Its always go deep and sit on it Worse than the drubbing by Arsenal really. Hopefully seals Moyes fate end of season. diid a good job overall but hit his ceiling"

Jaan Kenbrovin 12:23 Tue Mar 26 Re: ‚ö? Newcastle v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview I'm tempted to go with a score draw. Two worst defences in the top ten. Could be an end to end thriller. Newcastle have more goals in them though. ‚Äî‚Äî‚Äî‚Äî‚Äî‚Äî- I didn‚Äôt factor in the utterly corrupt officiating. Don‚Äôt know why I bother following football anymore. If it isn‚Äôt our manager being fucking shit and boring it‚Äôs the refs and var making sure you don‚Äôt win.

No plan B when ahead. If pulling on a defenders shoulder and sticking your leg in front of their foot as they are kicking it is a penalty then is not the game I want to watch.
