I think this shows how much ambition Sullivan had at the beginning of the season.

Horrible short arsed gremlin. Need to get him arrested for many of things he's done.
All it would take is a couple of chats at games to get the media interest. ‘Sacha Wall’ over and over and ‘We know what you’ve done, we know what you’ve done, David Sullivan, we know what you’ve done.’

The media will take interest, stickers and banners from fans would really increase it and we’d really put the spotlight on him.
He should have had more grief over capitalising on Mary Millington posthumously as well.

Not really it just protects the club from having a big outlay if the worst should happen and may have even been from Todibo's side.

Sullivan can sniff the government handing the freehold of the site over to him along with them picking up the bill to redevelop it.

Naturally he'll just trouser and cash that comes his way in such a deal and B&B the site/stadium immediately to some mug punter who wants a slice of the PL pie.

Since Sullivan has taken the reigns, we are a football club with a Chronic Illness of underachievement, lack of ambition with a real danger of it becoming terminal. Yes there have been good times but we haven't built on them and the bright spots have been vastly outweighed by mediocrity, a lurching from crisis to crisis characterized by poor (cheapo yes men) appointments leading to equally poor, inappropriate and 'wrong fit' signings while perennially failing to close gaping holes in our squad.

The fish rots from the head and until Sullivan goes we will have to endure.

He was a Technical Director without full control of all footballing matters. The most important one, recruitment, was even shared between him, Sullivan and Lopetegui.

As you also point out, why do we exclysively pick out of work managers with Premier League experience. Narrows the options down majorly.

Professionally, properly run clubs use data, process and analytics to drive selections hence employment status, previous Prem experience far less inportant because guess what? These clubs work out the profile of, and requirements for, the man they want. Football style, tactics, types of players used, do they develop them, have they been successful at multiple clubs just some if the requirements that are defined.

Sullivan is a narcissistic fckwit who us never wrong in his mind, knows best, needs to be in control to feel powerful and relevant, worthy.

We need him to pop his clogs and hope his sons do not have his malignent narcissist traits.
I think the bigger hope where his sins are concerned isn't that they aren't narcissistic, but that they're fragile little wallflowers that can be readily hounded or manipulated.

This seems pretty likely.

As the major shareholder and decision maker in a world class club, boasting a world class stadium with world class transport links I would like to ask two questions related to the most important roles in a football club which wants to be taken seriously.
1. Why do we not have a world class director of football, worthy of a world class operation?
2. Why do we look for managers down the labour exchange rather than properly evaluating and selecting talent commensurate with the world class business?

G&S legacy will be owners that took us to a new stadium that was not fit for purpose and have spent the last ten years doing nothing to re-develop into a proper football stadium. That failed to utilise that move to implement a proper tangible and successful transfer policy that improves results. And blatantly and openly ostracised our young, old and disabled supporters by pricing them out.

I mean, fuck me, that is some legacy.

I really can't be sure what is worse, to know she is sitting there lying through her back teeth, or that she genuinely believes that the fans are happy, the stadium is OK and the club is moving forward.
