Eurovision

Post Gank »

First semi final tonight. Semi final Thursday night.

Grand finals on Saturday 8pm.

They've moved the FA Cup final kickoff to make sure if it goes to penalties it won't overlap with the song contest.

Sweden will win it this year.

Best song sung by someone who survived one of the worst terror attacks in history only 18 months ago.
They've completely avoided even mentioning her history.

Like the Luxemburg & Iceland songs too.
Wtf has that history got to do with the song?
It's shit and that shit country should be banned just like fucking Russia
No,neither should be banned. They say no politics in the contest then ban a country for taking its own land back and don't ban a country bombing fuck out of their neighbours.

It's just all about who can be the biggest attention seeker (gay) nowadays, isn't it?
Probably Maneskin, or Dadi Fryr. From this country, it would be Sam Ryder, before that it would be Blue.

But yes, it's been camped up so much it's weird now.

It's a song competition which attracts so many nations that they have to have semi finals to whittle the numbers down to fit them all into the final. Many of the countries have their own competition to determine the winner whose song enters Eurovision. It's not so important for us int he UK as any half decent singer can get a career in music but for many European nations, they need this sort of exposure to make a living out of it - which is how ABBA made it.

Like the football Euros, some people aren't interested so they don't watch it, but also like the Euros, it attracts a huge worldwide audience so you can expect to see it advertised quite a lot. It's not really 'pushed' on you by TV and radio, it's quite heavily advertised because a lot of people will want to tune in. Nobody is forcing you.

This is the 69th contest so it's not a fad, and of course it isn't for everyone.
