Re: Sullivan out!
And so it begins..... First official day of the season... The beginning of the relegation starts now. Sullivan is on the final step of his West Ham legacy. Surprised its taken this long to be honest.

Re: Sullivan out!
It's depressing. No sign of anyone coming in, no sign of anyone leaving which I suppose must happen before the former. The squad is weaker today than it was on the last day of last season.
All down to Sullivan. No-one else.

Re: Sullivan out!
Players back in training today. Consider this their workplace. In they go, their line manager doesn't want them; their senior management says, "we are skint and you are all up for sale".
Can you imagine the morale in that working environment.
Only one doorstep that World Class mess can be laid.
David Sullivan.

Re: Sullivan out!
Imo and I suspect the majority view is that the 90 million is some sort of loan. Cash flow issue is solved but simply “kicks the can down the road” as the 90 million loan will need to paid back asap
Sullivan’s ambition is ironically now where mine has descended to. Just surviving in the Premiership is about as good as it will get if lack of transfers continues. My expectations will rise if we actually bring in some young, athletic, physical central midfielders.

Re: Sullivan out!
If DK puts in the £90m . He will be the clubs majority shareholder. And a narcissist like Sullivan wouldn't be able to handle not being in charge of things . Anyway it won't be long until all is revealed one way or another. Hopefully kretinskys . 1st act would be booting Bradys arse back over north London where the useless Bint belongs .

A well supported petition could be used to become a press story, especially if followed up with in -match targeting of him.
At the moment all the petition does is prove how apathetic our support base is.
The ONLY way to get to Sullivan is through your wallet. Everything else is a inconvenience to him. Never going to tell a fan. How to fan. But people figure it out eventually...

Re: Sullivan out!
Right now, we don't have a PSR issue. Just a lack of cashflow. To buy 90m of players doesn't require a 90m cash injection now, as most buys are on the basis of the fee being spread over the contract.
Next season could be different, with the Rice fee long gone from the books. That's the point where a capital injection for PSR could become a thing, unless we turn some assets into coveted, saleable assets this season.

Re: Sullivan out!
Sullivan gobbed off too much about needing to sell before we buy but, created a failing club image he needed to live down. It highlighted the failings of his 15 years of managing WHU.
I don't think a director's loan would satisfy PSR regulations so where's the £90m coming from?. I'm sure that it's just the usual smoke and mirrors as it would need to be a rights issue calling for the issue of new share capital to satisfy the regulations.
So, my bet is that the £90m won't happen. Sullivan won't spend anything much until after some player sales. He's just bullshitting again is my opinion......

Re: Sullivan out!
Taking Sullivans initial buy price, maybe he’s thinking he’s had enough out of the club (can’t get much more), what with selling UP (maybe twice), high interest directors loans, re mortgages on facilities etc., no personal investment unless he’s earning out of it, he’s already asset stripped a lot, talk of a buyout seems bollocks to me when realistically there’s nothing left to buy. We own nothing. By the time he’s sold the remaining best players and pocketed the parachute payment of relegation, sell whatever is left for whatever his bitch can get for it, is it not possible he sees it as enough? The way the club has been run since they bought it seems to point to the fact that he and Brady couldn’t give a fuck about the club or its supporters only what he can get out of it, and there ain’t much more. The cynical might have thought it was his plan from day one. You can bet that he’s had the figures and thought about it.
Re: Sullivan out!
The portacabins are a symbol of what Sullivan is all about. He struts around and talks like he is a “big shot” ( compensation for little man syndrome ) but he, as Texas and others remind us, will always be a barrow boy, porno dealer, tacky, and above all else untrustworthy and dishonest. We just need to outlive him although knowing our luck he will becpme the worlds oldest man living to the age of 120.
West Ham have been cursed most of my supporting life time. That gypsy down Green St selling heather in the 60s?
We’re doomed I tell thee doomed !!!

Re: Sullivan out!
Not offering this as a defence but I've long believed that the land on which both our old training ground at Chadwell Heath, and our new, state-of-the-art facilities reside (and Westlands playing fields) is slated for gravel extraction (then, possibly landfill, then housing) over the next 25-50 years.
Not the sort of knowledge freely given up by civil servants but probably influences planning permission on the sites - hence the portacabins.

Re: Sullivan out!
the biggest assets are a handful of players, the sky tv money and most importantly of all, the fans. they've invested fuck all, and built jack shit. the thought of them moving on our best goalscorer this summer is suicidal, but something I've questioned for a while that may happen. what ambitious player would want to hang around with the current negative manager, and a board that have zero ambition other than finishing 17th?

Re: Sullivan out!
There is a lot of stuff on the Bowen thread about "The West Ham Asset" being devalued by Sullivan. He may, or may not be planning to sell Bowen. Bowen May or may not be keen to leave the circus.
Whatever, the West Ham asset is a strange concept. In terms of performance we have watched a mediocre team sleepwalk into a European final but regularly flirting with relegation. With European football we could attract the likes of Kudus and Paqueta, 2 years remote from Europe ensures that talent of that nature is not available to us. Those two are on the exit steps one way or another.
We do not own the ground so that is an asset other clubs have and West Ham don't anymore. Everton sold naming rights to their ground for £150m. Ten years on the London Stadium is still the London Stadium with no naming rights. Whilst the lions share of any naming deal would go to the Stadium owners, West Ham getting a percentage, we have received, and will continue to receive, 100% of fuck all given our cordial relationship with the owners, who are equal and opposite shitheads, preferring a solar panel vanity project to working towards a developing viable asset. Brady and Khan, take a bow.
Then there is the training facility, we understand fully mortgaged. To get this to a standard comparable to, say Bournemouth, then £50m investment (given London build prices) is not an unreasonable investment (dirty words) expectation.
So, the West Ham asset comes down to the ethereal "good will value" of playing staff, maintaining premier league status, being in London, and access to a large fan base.
Clearly we lack the leadership skills and desire to find inventive ways around the financial restrictions which others seem able to do without pleading poverty.
The baroness has already tried, and failed to flog a percentage due to the ownership structure. With the 8th Wealthiest ownership in the league comprising astute business men and the genius Brady it beggars belief that they cannot see that current behaviours, "we are skint", "might put £90m in if we can't force sales", is devaluing the club further.
Tangible assets are virtually non existent and "good will" is the most volatile of business assets to rely upon.
The Bowen stuff may, or may not, be true but what is true is that once again the club looks like a circus.

Re: Sullivan out!
You have to look at it in a bigger picture.
Sullivan will just laugh if this petition is 4k or so. But he will be anxious if its 20k and the season ticket sales drop.
As long as the fans stays numb and quiet, they think we accept what's going on.

Re: Sullivan out!
Given that the petition has not yet reached 4500, do you think there is a reluctance to see Sullivan replaced? Better the devil you know? Personally, I can't stand the man but don't want some self-serving Yank reorganising our football.
Re: Sullivan out!
If the “look at me” cսnt applied for the apprentice exactly how long would she last before Sugar loses his boot up her useless arse? Don’t know how she’s got the brass neck to even acknowledge she’s anything to do with our shitshow, same self awareness as the Welsh midget.
I often think that when I've seen her sneering at the contestants on the apprentice. I would rather have the mattress salesman bosh guy on the board than that fucking chancer.
