You are very funny. Not the funny (ha-ha) that you imagine you are in your own mind, but funny (peculiar) on account of your blinkered and obviously bigoted views on life in general.
Crack on.

Next year is the fallow year which they do every 5 years to allow the grounds to recover
So there will be no Glastonbury in 2026

Re: Glastonbury 2025
Watched a bit of the Prodigy, who were excellent.
Flicked it over to see the bird headlining the main stage and didn't recognise her. Hadn't even ever heard her name before. I must be getting old.
I wonder if they'll use this year out to reassess what it's become, or if they'll continue to allow the BBC influence to turn it into a hate festival.

Re: Glastonbury 2025
Its just a massive virtue signaling event by most of the performers, all trying to outdo each other dedicating songs to this or that or telling the audience their opinion, the audience for their part are in the most part just elite and busybody types lapping it up.
I prefer the old days when it was all about music, getting pissed/stoned/sex, Reading and Knebworth used to be a great laugh until the politicised and over sanitized woke nonsense came along at Glastonbury

Turns out the Bob Vylan singer is a clean-living vegan with a double barrelled surname.

The baying morons in the crowd meanwhile, scream, shout, and jump up and down. Come to think of it, it would be like a vision of hell.
It was bad enough when I saw them in the 90s at Wembley. I mostly remember Ron Wood making a complete horlicks of all his guitar solos and Mick Jagger running a lot.
I'd gone for support who were pretty damn good: Faith No More and Metallica.
Went Glastonbury a few times including hopping over the wall but haven't been this century. The festival respected its roots then so there was always a good smattering of out there bands. Remember the Pyramid stage kicking off with Senser followed by Ozric Tentacles which would never happen now. One of my favourite memories was seeing System 7 (Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy) playing The Glade as the sun set.

This is a great listen if you're a fan of Nile Rogers.
Been some cracking episodes in the back catalogue, well worth digging in to.

Mick Hucknall's certainly delivered a few knicker elastic snappers in his time, that's for sure.
