AC signs for the Daggers

Post Forest Gate Ugly »

Just putting it out there, but if you’re sick of West Ham (and I am) it could be the moment to get in on the ground floor with Dagenham & Redbridge who’ve just signed Andy Carroll. Feeling rather more pumped about this than our transfer window to be honest.

Honestly lower league football is where it’s at. I went to a Chorlton and Didsbury game in Manchester and it was great. Had a pint in my hand the whole time

Good player but injuries ruined his career.   Great signing for Dag & Red.

I’d forgotten that name. There was a thought that Anwar Uddin might make it with us. Getting indecently excited about the Daggers even as my enthusiasm for West Ham falls off a cliff

Anwar Uddin.  Part of the Qatari Takeover.  thought the name sounded familiar with West Ham so googled it.  Turns out we’re both from Stepney too.

He's signed for them AND invested! Mad. And they got bought out by Qataris today, so the future might be a little brighter.

All i ever wanted was for him to stay fit and get a decent run of games for us.
He 's some character and yes, its the signing of the week.

A good player when he fancied it. I still remember him crashing into David De Gea like a torpedo and sparking him.
