Gregg Wallace sacked

Post Fauxstralian »

Millwall fan (he has a tattoo of the club crest on his chest) who can’t spell Greg
Over 50 more women came forward to complain about a man who liked to grope & take his trousers off in front of staff while not wearing pants
One woman who complained was told you are over 16 and have hardly been Jimmy Savilled
Same old bbc story. Don’t rein in the ‘talent’ while they are successful

I've just been reading that the BBC have had to come out and admit their Hamas sponsored 'documentary' of Gaza breached accuracy guidelines.

I'm surprised their fact checking department, BBC Verify, were unable to pick up this glaringly obvious miscalculation by them.

It's not been a great week for the BBC.

Priceless.
Yeah, apparently it's both yours and my fault as well for facilitating a Nonce Ring.
Legacy...weighs very heavily.

Don't take things so literally...the consequences of the past and learned behaviour are very unforgiving. It manifests itself in never ending combinations of negative social side effects and usually camouflages itself within hierarchal structures. Nonce behaviour is just one example of this. Some say it's in the DNA. I think it's learned behaviour that comes from disaster, ignorance and poverty.

You both know that and you also both know that I wasn't suggesting the free market was entirely responsible at all. It's far bigger and far more complicated than it is possible to explain on a shitty forum.

We are only here to make excuses while we're alive because another war or much, much worse is just around the corner.

It's been a good run - 80 years of relative stability but none of us will be here to see the worst repeat itself.

Legacy is very unforgiving.

Good day to you both.

That was me. It needs shutting down as it's failed for a long time to be an impartial safe Public Broadcasting Service that the Public can seriously trust any more which was it's initial missio. Instead it sadly turned in to a safe haven for nonces like Savile, Jonathan King, Huw Edwards, as well as other sex pest predators as Jermaine Jenas and Russell Brand (allegedly).

On top of that you get a constant whining nanny state lecture from Celebs on how we should live our lives, whilst jetting around on the best jets and transport themselves, or how they now televise hate chanting from their flagship annual Music event.

Not forgetting the Bashir/Diana interview scandal by way of deceitful malpractices. The list of major scandals at the Corporation are endless.

And to think they have the nerve to demand a licence fee from you for the privilege or threaten to bang you up whilst genuine criminal Beeb presenters get off from the worst crimes scot-free having previously earned a mega wage.

It's lost all credibility and that's just the shit we know about...

It's been fully appropriated and paid off just like every other public service.

Fire, Police, Post Office, NHS, Local Authorities, Thames Water etc- there are still many fine people within who are doing the job for the right reasons and dare I say it - have actually managed to maintain some concept of principle. It's only about 35% who fall into that bracket though.

I'm 52 fucking years old and fail to understand how everyone keeps making excuses when it's pretty apparent that 65% of the foundations are rotten. Is it the unregulated free market? Is it neo-liberalism? Is it the total absence of trying to do the right thing some of the time than hardly any of the time?

Most certainly.

We have more than enough knowledge by now to be a little bit better without throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I think that's an affirmative.

Everybody talks about right or left but that's an outdated structure at this late stage. It was set up post-war to create the concept of stability but 80 years living the lie has just about run it's course.. Going ultra right or ultra left is just bitterly cutting off one's nose to spite the face. We have the knowledge.

It's the same with religion and the church. Sure, there are some very good people within it but the majority are only there for the DOGMA. That is the problem with everything.

We can blame our diminutive chairman and his performative feminist sidekick

We can blame the BBC

We can blame whatever muppet from whatever party happens to be prime minister talking shite from the parapet.

It's everybody's fault.

Ultimately it's probably why Gregg Wallace ended up getting his fucking knob out in the first place. He wasn't ready for it.

Life init?

That is all.

I drink my tea ☕

The bloke was a fruit and veg wholesaler (he always loved showing his wares) at New Covent Garden/Borough Market back in the day.

A lot of restaurants opened around Clerkenwell got very trendy in the 90's and he used to regularly supply them. You could find him most nights propping up the bar at The Eagle which is generally considered the first gastropub in London. I knew a few Italian/Portuguese/Spanish who worked there in the kitchen and behind the bar. His legend was infamous!

Obviously a gobshite and motormouth but there were quite a few BBC radio producers who drank/ate there and by hook or crook he was somehow offered the chance to talk about fruit and veg on Radio 4.

The rest as they say...is history

Happens a lot in TV. People meet people in the pub or friends of friends, or 'characters' that people encounter get opportunities.

We have to thank a chef being ill and/or not bothering to turn up to work one day at the River Cafe back in the 90s when a camera crew was there, so a certain apprentice chef named Jamie Oliver stepped in last minute...

"An allegation that John Torode used “racist language” has been upheld by a report."

Reckon this upcoming series of Masterchef might never be shown.  Sounds like it'll be full of Wallace running around with his knob out and Torode shouting the N word.

He's just being Australian.  They're (the older non woke generation) are some of the most racist people I've ever met.

Sadly I don't think it is. But wouldn't it be wonderful...😁
Given some of the other crazy excuses he's been making.

The contestant had made soup and because of my autism i was compelled to drop my trousers and stir it with my penis

Skid Mark Wallace needs to try harder

The problem with binning the new series of Masterchef is that it’s the contestants that suffer

Generally speaking it isn't a ludicrous/unknown phenomenon in autism. Autistic people frequently have sensitivities to clothing and footwear regarding the type of fabric and/or feeling constricted. I hate shoes, for example, and as soon as I get home I remove my shoes and socks as I long to be barefoot. Throughout the day thoughts about "Aaargh, I fucking hate having my feet imprisoned in this way!" intrude.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if Wallace is telling lies about the reason he likes to expose himself to women. And it's quite obviously not an excuse.
I need to start hanging around with autistic women, if this is the case.

Can't they CGI him out of the series and replace him with someone like Mr. Blobby?

That way the contestants get their air time (and, presumably, paid).
