Gregg Wallace sacked

Post Fauxstralian »

Millwall fan (he has a tattoo of the club crest on his chest) who can’t spell Greg
Over 50 more women came forward to complain about a man who liked to grope & take his trousers off in front of staff while not wearing pants
One woman who complained was told you are over 16 and have hardly been Jimmy Savilled
Same old bbc story. Don’t rein in the ‘talent’ while they are successful

I think the concept is old hat now and well past it's sell by date (see what I did there).

I think they should re-invent cooking tasks jazzed up with real Judges trying to survive being topped by convict contestants such as Axel Rudakubana trying to give them 3rd degree burns, or being served up death cap mushroom dishes from that nutty Aussie killer LIVE from Prison kitchens.

The Beeb would make a killing with hit ratings for once.

Naturally they won't though as it wouldn't be deemed very politically correct or Health and Safety Execs turning their noses up at it, but come on, it would be well entertaining! I'd watch it. 🍿

Obviously sacking both hosts makes it even harder to show the current series but that would be catastrophic for the contestants involved

Masterchef is too successful a concept to be binned
Odds on it will return with the brief that the hosts are NOT white middle aged straight men

If the BBC employ the AI bloke in the Union flag pants chucking water over everyone, then I might be tempted to pay for the licence fee.

I'd never heard of John Torode, and when his name started being mentioned on telly and radio I thought they were saying "Jonty Rhodes" and I assumed he had taken up cooking...braaai or something like that

As I understood it they told Torode they weren’t going to renew his contract & effectively ‘sacked’ him. Bit like we are always told we sacked Moyes
Not sure why they needed to dig up a 7 year old incident to do that
Could have just said with Wallace leaving we want to freshen up the show with completely new hosts

The bbc are stumbling from one crisis to another. Probably a good time for the government to bin the Tory Tim Davie

This bit about the Beebs practices I find very disturbing by openly encouraging employees to lie over using such a serious health condition...

The BBC told the MasterChef presenter to pretend he had mental health issues after accusing him of racism, it was claimed.

Sources said the BBC and production company Banijay asked John to resign from the beleaguered show last week and claim he had mental health problems — to which he refused.

One weird as fuck corporation.

They will be replaced by that muslim lady that won bake off and recently complained that she had lost her job and probably by a gay black man.

I noted that the BBC was a fucked-up elitist & exclusive organisation back in 1973, but I was one (young) voice against "Land of Hope & Glory" and "God Save the Queen".

My views never got further than the works canteen.

Lee Trundle" wrote: 15 Jul 2025, 12:23 I've just been reading that the BBC have had to come out and admit their Hamas sponsored 'documentary' of Gaza breached accuracy guidelines.

I'm surprised their fact checking department, BBC Verify, were unable to pick up this glaringly obvious miscalculation by them.

It's not been a great week for the BBC.
In the GBNews video I posted earlier they paid the Hamas kid (effectively his Hamas Leader old man) a lot of money (Over £1800), a new mobile phone, as well as gift him video games vouchers for the clearly biased Propaganda Documentary. The Beeb are in deep shit with all this and reckon old Tim nice but Dim will soon be on his toes out the door.. Just shut the whole sorry operation down, I say.
