WHUFC New Kits

Post stubbo-admin »

Newsflash...it's not Kappa....but in my opinion they look shite.

Anyway, supposedly these are very very close to what the actual kits look like.
Mock up kits are accurate.jpeg
Hate the claret socks. Looks like a Burnley kit.

Jaan,

Wait til you’ve seen the third mate.

Don’t get me wrong, I was sick as a parrot when the Kappa deal fell through, but Umbro have smashed it with the third shirt. No denying it.

I’d say these kits are pony, but Pony would be an improvement on the shit Umbro have punted. This set the very worst of the Umbro era. It’s like they gave up and used their cheapest stock kit.

Does look white ( or cream at best) rather than the advertised ECRU
Both shirts very plain … not a bad thing but appears Umbro have not put too much into it in their last season
Expect the third to be plain BLACK or NAVY

Nice kit, the away one. Looks almost like a retro England kit.
Certainly not going to fail to spot the goalie in that orange thing either,

Cheers OTB. Looks like something Wayne Sleep would wear, no wonder you like it.

Kits don't look too bad without the Boyle Logo.
Still don't like that green circle on the arm.

If you don't like the new kit, its only for a season.

Where's the 3rd kit?

On The Testes,

Care to share details on the 3rd shirt, if it's such a banger.

Well, they often have nothing to do with the Club but this one isn't quite like that. It's simple but very good. It'll be the most popular of the three, I expect.

And yes, the white one does look better - I thought that was a belter. They shouldn't really be comparable as the ecru one should be more like the original to the point they wouldn't be compared.

The home and away have been driven by the Club, not Umrbo (/Castore).

The third is MUCH better.
Isn't the third kid normally designed (by pretty much all Premier League clubs) by some ADHD work experience kid who is colourblind and slightly mental, who produces a shirt that has no connection to the club whatsoever?

If anything, the old one from a few seasons ago looks better.

This season is shaping up well to be an abomination.

I'm not that fussed about the design itself. The issue is that they're so plain and the Sponsor name sticks out so much that it looks like a Boyle Sports promo t-shirt, not a West Ham kit.

A better effort than the home shirt.

They should've made it creamer as it just looks like a washed white.
