The club are desperate for me not to miss out on the Chelsea game.

I've had numerous texts and emails over the past three weeks informing me that I should book my seat now as I don't want to miss out.

I also had an email from a very nice fella called Henry Schoppmann the business development manager who offered to be a personal point of contact should I need any support with my bookings.amd asking if there were any particular home games I was interesting in attending.

ViIP hospitality packages at knockdown prices (£39) for the Lille game were also on offer in his email and he promised to send over further offers throughout the season.

I will probably attend the Chelsea game and the majority of home games but the ownership and fixture changes for TV certainly piss me off as many others I know.

This business development guy will probably be actively seeking out more of the tourist market so the atmosphere will become even more sterile.

He should be looking more at the disenfranchised and hacked off fans who have stopped going but that's probably not the people they want over there any more.

Yanks and Japanese buying hospitality packages and crap kits more the market these days.

The only problem is they won't be coming back again after viewing the product on the pitch and the shit view.

I have said it before and i will say it again. Get the fan forums and groups to organise a mass walk out. Make it on a live Sky game and walk out after 5 minutes then stand outside and protest. Just leave the tourists in there. 

It will be an awful look for Sullivan. Sky won't like it. And it will have the biggest impact and highlight this to other fans.

Humans - ALL humans are social creatures of habit; we like a routine, it helps us keep track of time.

Football at 3pm every Saturday being one such example. The disruption TV brought to that decades old routine, however, proves that habits can be broken without your dick dropping off, routines can be changed without the sky falling in. We managed Sunday games, without much of an issue, while in Europe.

Nobody is saying that you HAVE to change - what they are saying is that to help ensure that you can keep your routine going in the future, you may have to put yourself off-schedule now for a short while.

It does need co-ordination though and these days there are plenty of people who would happily be in charge of such action (if they had the time - but they don't, sorry) but will give a big fuck-off if they so much as feel on the wind that somebody is trying to lead them or tell them what to do.

It's no secret that I've not been to a game for decades, so personally, right NOW, I'm not giving anything up. I still have plans to take in a few games each time I come back to Europe, but the direction in which the club is moving make that less and less likely.

I would, though, be Sullivan's dream customer - a tourist AND old skool; long held passion for the team along with a souvenir shopping list.

Seeing as most fans turn up after 5 mins because they have been delayed by the pathetic security checks this is a non starter plus l wouldn't back it as l go to watch West Ham and no matter what not demos organised by people that don't actually go...doom and gloom merchants

As STHs we generate around 15% of the Clubs turnover, so even if 20% kicked up and ended up walking away or getting banned that's a revenue loss of around £7 million which is covered by shirt sponsorship.

The best way is to make Sullivan's life uncomfortable and force his hand, otherwise after him we'll be lumbered with Jack and that will be the end of West Ham.

Agree with this.  Although suspect Jack is a bit more mummy's boy and thin skinned than his old man, and might be more 'open to persuasion' from a concerted effort by the fanbase.

He is the owner (yes he’s a shit owner) but his prerogative how he runs things, harsh but true just as it is that anyone is free to offer to buy him out?

It's either a fuck off sized Protest March to the Stadium from The Vic similar to the last time we did it, or stop going to matches is probably the best ways to protest now.

The Mass March would be the best option if it was organised again to send a clear message. That last one was proper good and well organised.

Problem is vast majority not interested for various reasons

That's it. A season ticket is guaranteed income they can borrow against. That's the only reason for the chasing. They can make potentially five times as much from selling a seat game by game but alternatively they could make nothing. A one off ticket buyer is definitely a lot more valuable then a season ticket holder in terms of what they spend first on the ticket and then more likely as a one off or rare visitor on food drink and likely something in the shop. But you can't tell a lender you have that money even if you can reliably forecast it on past data because it might not happen, so they won't lend against it. Bit of a weird catch 22. On one hand I am sure they want to fuck us off because they make loads more from tourists and infrequent attenders, but they can't because their business plan of payday loans to finance the upcoming season goes down the shitter. 

If the ST waiting list was massive and people were jumping at the chance to take season tickets the moment the renewal deadline passes they wouldn't give a fuck at all though, I am sure.

So, if you want to maintain your season ticket...A season ticket...the best option is to not renew until the very last day.

The perceived/promoted risk is that by leaving it late then you might not get the seat(s) you want, and I fully understand that.

The counter to that is that you just walk away if your preferred seat is not available. Nailed on if you threaten that, the seat you want will suddenly become "available again after a late cancellation" (last day to purchase - how "late" is "late"?) . That's a big risk, though,  and far be it for me to suggest others take it.

Also it needs a significant number of ST holders to go down that path and for a myriad of reasons, too few people are likely to take on such an approach - were I a ST holder (again), I'd probably buy as soon as they became available because that's what I tend to do with all purchases of stuff I want; one less thing to worry about later.

The bottom line is: " Do they want/need your money more than you want/need football. It's apples & oranges in reality.

Sullivan''s VisiCalc program has probably told him that a seat occupied by a different tourist for every (home) game generates a better ROI than one occupied by a local/season ticket holder.

So long as the club remains in the PL (and it's Brand PL the tourists come to see, not West Ham), banks will keep lending (Payday loans) and sucking interest payments from the club coffers.

If you're including old skool like yourself who don't actually go or buy club merchandise then yes you're spot on,you're not needed or wanted by club
Yes the tourists money is welcome and l hate the half/half scarfers,but that's the way of vast majority of Premier clubs and being London club it's not going to change.How else can we compete?

The one where we were told hearses with coffins were being driven to the ground, to signify the death of the West Ham we know/knew, only for it to be pulled/sabotaged at the last minute.

Organised protests will more than likely be killed off by the stunted cսnt and his mates (and those that are threatened by the same mates).
We've seen it before. Nothing as sickening as seeing 'proper' West Ham threatening others. Cunts.
The only protests that MAY be effective are spontaneous, like Burnley.
Unfortunately, spontaneous protests are by nature, spontaneous, and not organised. They need a trigger.
The fan base appears to have lost it's backbone, as really can't see the likes of Burnley again.
