You'd never hear the players or coaches claim to be equal to the mens game or describe it as englands greatest football achievement. That's the media and the usual hangers on. The 24 hour a day constant cycle of drivel playing in the background of everything.
Anyway once again, well done girls. Best womens football team in europe.

Let the women’s teams become self funded, see what happens.
The bottom line is they played 6 games and only won 2 in regulation time.

No matter what you think about women’s football, that screeching harridan Vicki Sparks on the commentary ruins every game she commentates. Please BBC, relegate her to women’s games only.

Nobody is asking you to watch it are they?
I don't watch it but don't have a problem with those that do and want to come on here and cսnt them in the bastard for doing so. They're still English which you are yet you want the women from another country to win.. You're like a homophobe who protests so much because they're a raving closet queen, same as the spurs shit.
Closet spurs fan bum bandit nailed on.

I'm no women's football fan, and I didn't watch any of the tournament, but that's proper scraping the barrel, twoleltfeet.

I'm not sure that's a relevant metric though, is it?
I follow Essex's results but never been to a county cricket game, however I'm currently on the 5 home test match bandwagon and looking forward to the Ashes bandwagon.
I've enjoyed bits of the Wimbledon bandwagon on TV but never been and certainly wouldn't find myself at Nottingham, Eastbourne or Queens or wherever.
I like the 4 yearly Olympics bandwagon but never been to a swimming gala or athletics meet and no chance I'd ever go to a fucking ping pong or badminton tournament.
I must be a serial bandwagon jumper. What a mug

Didn't watch a second of it so wont slag it off and its a trophy for England so that's something to be pleased about. But I'm with Mad Dog on this generally. Lets see how many of those celebrating wildly get off their arses on a freezing cold Saturday/Sunday/Monday night to watch Fulham ladies v Brighton ladies.

Saw the other day that one of the N London teams (can’t remember if it was Arsenal or the other lot) announced their WSL team would play ALL their games at the main stadium
That should boost attendances & interest
Presume we would be unable to do that as understood we are restricted as to the number of games we can host at London Stadium
Think that was the reason we couldn’t host a testimonial for Aaron Cresswell
Lots of talk about the women’s superiority at pens compared to the men
Scored 3 out of 7 to beat Sweden & 3 out of 5 last night
The pen v Italy was also saved & scored on the rebound
Am sure the men will be delighted to get through knockouts next summer scoring 6 out of 13

And wont give a fuck about it until the next big tournament IF they are doing OK. Pretty sure that is thr definition of a band wagon. All bandwagons piss me off severely "ooh I like the popular thing because it's popular". Not because people actually are interested in whatever. And the fake caring in this, music, hot topics, suddenly being really into athletics at the Olympics in 2012, whatever is popular in media etc has always got on my tits.
Ive nothing against the women's football. At all. I have a problem with those that are part time fans snd will go back to ignoring them again after tomorrow.
If youre gonna support something, do it properly, not just when it's popular for a couple of weeks
Personally I don't have much interest in any sport other than men's football, but this little rant seems a bit daft to me. Jumping on media created sensations is one thing, but events like the Euros, Olympics, Wimbledon, etc. are where you're supposed to be seeing the very best of those sports. That's why people watch them. The idea that to watch and enjoy one of these competitions means having to "support" them 365 days a year is ridiculous.

In the past yes, not so sure that's as true nowadays on our way to another Final though..
They also beat Columbia on Pens at the 2018 WC but these shoot out “triumphs” seem few and far between when compared to the ones we lost! We do have form for bottling it
but nice to see our girls show how it’s done, not just once but several times during the tournament.
Mind you I never watched it or in fact any game or highlights even

Well done to the team for winning, but it's just a statistic to me.
Having "Football" and "England" in the narrative is simply not enough, no matter what the media (BBC, I'm looking at you here) think I should think.
Is that because you live in Thailand or consider yourself a woman because your Trans?

In the entire knockout stages, England led for less than 4 minutes. I'll take that. About time we got some luck!

Mr Hatred, you sold out by watching Gaelic Athletic Association and got proper confused with what the hell was going on. So you're in no position to get your knickers in twist over this.
And yes, we will never hear the end of this, Gary Lineker is going to be unbearable on the BB... oh.
