That BBC bint could barely hide it's contempt that it's great leader was in Scotland .
It's great leader would have been there through choice I'm sure .
but his overlords decided being rinsed by the president of the United States of America was a better look.

Whereas the men's game is so much about the money and you can see Bellingham as one glaring example doesn't seem to really care about playing for England and it's a lot about him over the team, and they all seem concerened with other things (Saka chucking a wobbler about being asked to fill in at left back etc.), the girls are not doing it for the money seen as there isn't any(!) and it's all just about the joy and the passion of playing the game and for them representing England is clearly 100% their pinnacle and they know the team is bigger than all of them. They are like a throwback to the men from 30-40 years ago before the PL money in terms of pride and attitude.
I always said this. Hardy any England's men's team give a damn. Seem just to go through the motions. I would add France to that list as well to a certain extent but they seem fickle, I think they unite under Deschamp and still manged to win stuff. Spain was in the past because of the Barca/Madrid rift. Somehow they managed to get over this and become back to back Euro and World champions.
Germans, Croatians, Italians and Argentians seem to be passionate about playing for their nation.
In 2004-2010 we had the Man U , Liverpool and Chelsea cliques. That team should won something.

Well done to the team for winning, but it's just a statistic to me.
Having "Football" and "England" in the narrative is simply not enough, no matter what the media (BBC, I'm looking at you here) think I should think. Is that because you live in Thailand or consider yourself a woman because your Trans?
..."because your Trans?"...
Because my Trans what?
It helps in your claim to be English if you actually understand the use of the official language of the country.

Just read that Bronze played most of the tournament with a fractured tibia. That's the load bearing bone in the lower leg. Not sure how she managed but fair play to her. I remember Pulisic coming out of a group stage game in Qatar for the US due to a "bone contusion."

Any ides why? Can't just be money. Beckham has been cako for a long time, and regardless what you think of him, nothing meant more to him than pulling on the England shirt. You could see it. Very few these days who look like they give much of a fuck.
Could be that Beckham just had so much of the fucking stuff that it became the most important thing to him- I feel like Ronaldo is the same for Portugal. Could also be that it's a very savvy PR move, and there's never been a more PR savvy, more managed player than Beckham. Or it was just just purely genuine.

Re: 2025 European Championships * *womens
I think overall as a Nation we have improved in winning or going extremely close to doing so across most national formats which I'm very proud of seeing.
Women - Back to Back Euros Champions
Men's - Back to Back Euros Finalists, World Cup Semi
U21s - Back to Back Euros Champions
For years I used to moan about the need to get a centre of excellence back up and running during the 2000s in the Country that Lilleshall once provided us. A place where those that attended were educated with discipline as well as knowing exactly what was expected of them whilst singing from the same hymn sheet. It used to nurture future talents like Owen, Cole, Carrick, Lampard, Campbell, Defoe etc.
Now that St. George's Park has been well established as the new hub of excellence the Nation is reaping the benefits again at all levels that now includes the women. That's not by luck but by design. It's great to see and long may that continue.

All this 'let them fund themselves'
I'm not some raging hippy but why does it have to come down to money every time. The price of everything and the value of nothing. Let's concrete everything over and paint it all grey, everyone can work 60 hours a week until they're dead and we'll have nothing unless it pays for itself.
In the grand scheme of things women's football is costing less than fuck all, a lot of women participate and men & women enjoy watching it. Same as the arts, national trust etc or do we bin those unless they self fund.

Maybe if the blokes were paid the same amount as the women, they would end up playing for the shirt.
Re: 2025 European Championships * *womens
If you seriously want to build the women’s game then it will need to be propped up for a while by the men’s game. In the same way PL clubs invest in the community they should invest in the women’s game.
The fact that England has the best women’s team is surely proof this is working?

The women's game gets the same screen time on Skysport's news as the men's game. The women's international team is the best its ever been, yet viewing figures are down year on year, that suggests its the product.
100% true. Let them self fund themselves, let’s see how long that lasts before they come back begging the men’s game to fund them.

Marked difference to a high number of the mens team these days.

Yes, the World Cup next year will attract the usual once every 2 years facepainted cunts with their foam fingers & Beckham shirts
But the men’s game plays in front of full premier league crowds & earns billions from Sky
The women’s game doesn’t wash its face & has to give away tickets for WSL games
Its grown immensely in the last few years but its fans need to make it financially viable & justify higher salaries
Surely a success like yesterday will attract separate sponsors of LADY PRODUCTS to boost the games income
But these fans need to grow the revenue
Playing in Premier league stadiums will help but not sure we will ever see fans travelling on a rainy night for a game in STOKE

Give it a rest. Your persistence of posting how shit it is one way or the other is quite frankly something that you could expect in the 1950's, not in 2025.
Girls and women will keep on playing this sport in the future, despite your sorry old womits. So just give it a rest, and tune out if it affects you so negatively, you sad sad alpha men
