Re: January Transfer Window
"Just watching the Derby v Peterborough game, that Ronnie Edwards must be worth a cheeky £10mil bud surely they would get him looks so calm and assured, much better option than Joe Worrall if we are looking for homegrown talent"
Re: January Transfer Window
"Selling the players Moyes has ostracised or gives only a few minutes will probably only finance one quality player but that has to be the way forward now. A left sided midfielder but Moyes loves a CB, we get at least one every window and tbf with Zouma on his arthritic knees, Oggy almost 100 years old, it’s also an area for strengthening. You can also make the case for right and left backs, a CDM and of course a striker but most of those will have to wait until summer"

Re: January Transfer Window
"I think it’s time to go big. 2 years ago we had a chance of Champions League and we didn’t do anything and then flogged the players we had and missed out on a Europa League final. We should go all out for a top centre forward and midfielder. If we let any fringe players go then look for some home grown replacements, I’m sure players like Aguerd, Keher, Cornet, Ings and Cresswell must all be on a decent wedge. Some new players itching to get in the team and with hopefully a FA cup run and the Europa League games to come the injection of some new players will give us a bounce that we need to keep the current form going. We all know the current bench doesn’t change games."

"‘Can't see many players wanting to come here and play under Moyes’ We had a poor season yet we still signed the likes of Ward Prowse, Kudus and Alvarez in the summer. Now 6th in the league. Ofcourse there will be players to want to come here even with Moyes as manager."

Re: January Transfer Window
"Can't wait to see players being linked to us to sit on the bench and do fuck all picking up a huge wedge every week. Getting rid of the likes of Kehrer, Cornet and Ings to replace them with other players to do exactly what they are doing right now, sitting on the bench rotting away, getting 10 minutes if they are lucky and being expected to make an instant impact or they aren't seen again for a year or so. Can't see many players wanting to come here and play under Moyes"
Re: January Transfer Window
Kehrer on the verge of joining Monaco. We’ve been linked with Joe Worral from Forest and Charlie Hughes from Wigan. I don’t know much about Hughes but he sounds like the kind of signing we should be going for.

Re: January Transfer Window
Going to be a tricky window if we let any English/home grown players leave as they’ll have to be replaced to meet the criteria. Sadly 6 from our current 8 are pretty much worthless and need replacing.
Re: January Transfer Window
"I predict a month of rumours with no substance followed by lots of talk about how we’re happy with the squad and that January is a tough time to do business. European qualification is the goal, we need to be strengthening."
Re: January Transfer Window
Areola New RB - new CB - Mavropanos - Emerson Alvarez - Prowse Bowen - Paqueta - Kudus New striker Champions League here we come!
Re: January Transfer Window
"Willtell 11:05 Fri Dec 29 Totally agree with that. Top priority has to be a striker, even if it means we don't get anyone else. Antonio is now only good as cover and for sub appearances. As for Bowen, he has done a fair job but it's very clear that his best work is still done as a wideman. Get a striker in, someone like Guirassy or Leonardo, play Bowen and Kudus on the flanks. I don't care that neither of them has played on the left very much, they're both good players and should be able to adapt. They're both reasonably two-footed. Then play Paqueta central, where he should be. Guess who has to drop out of the side - aaaaah, shame. As for outgoings, I am hoping most out of Ings, Fornals, Kehrer, Benrahma and Johnson go, partly for their sakes as well as ours. Replacements? Yes, one or two would be useful, but I really hope a few of our outstanding U21s come into consideration as cover along with Mubama. It's crystal clear that they can't be any worse off the bench than the above names. I'm thinking the likes of Marshall, Chesters, Kodua, Earthy and Scarlet are among those that should be considered. They have done so well and should be in the manager's thoughts."

Re: January Transfer Window
"Kyle Walker Peters still at Southampton in the championship. Young, England international last year, would give Coufal some serious competition."

Re: January Transfer Window
"We need at least 4 home grown replacements as we are losing Johnson, Ings, Coventry and Cresswell that I imagine are all home grown. We will probably also lose Ogbonna, Kehrer, Fornals, Cornet and Benrahma. I'm not sure how much cash that will bring in but probably not much. I expect we will be looking at a few loans this January and a purchase will clearly relly on how much we get in from player sales"
