"Prices always higher in Jan. Reckon we might get Bergwijn at best. Killman if decent Aguerd offer comes in to pay 40 million they want although possible we will chuck in Ings ( we still subsidise wages ), Cresswell ? That gets them off the books but not worth a lot in fees maybe 10 million. So Aguerd said needed as Benrahma won’t fetch more than 10 million imo"

The kid Conway who scored for Bristol city today is only 21 but on todays evidence looks a good prospect who's not afraid to put himself about Maybe worth a second look and we will get that in the replay. It would be good to see us take a punt on some young homegrown talent.

"We need a left footed center half, one who can play it out of the back and who can run a little. Probably in the summer. A left winger and a speedy right back in Jan would seem to be a priority. Ship out Benny and Johnson. Probably have to wait till the summer for a striker. Then get rid of Ings and Fornals."

"I thought the plan was to lose Moyes and bring in a manager who wants to play actual football but also blood and integrate this golden generation of youngsters we keep hearing about. Moyes ain't gonna play any of them, so how are we gonna keep them sweet? Now he's being offered another contract I can see an exodus of talent from this club in the summer, who wants to play shitty fuckin Moyesball when you don't have to?"

"From what I have seen of Marshall he is obviously an outstanding finisher, quick thinking, excellent movement and quite a hard worker. Not very tall, reasonably strong but could still do with a bit more building up. He tends to play left, but sometimes central. I reckon one or two PL managers might already be giving him minutes in the first team but I can't see Moyes doing it. A loan might be the making of him."

"I don’t think Marshall would cope automatically with PL football at the moment, he needs to put on a bit of muscle in the gym to be really in with a chance of coping each week. He isn’t a grafter, he’s more an opportunist, a natural finisher with the gift of knowing where to be. I would guess that’s why he hasn’t got any minutes yet, but he can’t be far away from making his debut."

This lad Marshall we have in the U21s. Anyone regularly seen him play ? Wondered if he has the strength or speed or speed of thought that is required? It would seem he dan finish well but what’s he got the Mubamba has t? Technique like control and passing? Tge says of a pure poacher at the top level are long gone it would seem. Is he a worker and like I say does he have the physique needed to protect the ball etc as that seems to be the key to success these days? Yes you can compensate with instant control and quick thinking but not too many lightweight players name it nowadays I any of the top 4 divisions

Gary Strodders We should definitely look at the championship more. Especially with our incoming HG quota issue. Moyes seems to have gone off the idea of late. Our last purchase from there was Bowen I believe? Not counting Dawson. We should have gone for the Coventry lad who is now smashing it in Portugal. Not sure why we didn’t.

I suppose if we get a player that Moyes trusts to play on the left it should improve us by default as it moves Paqueta into the middle and Soucek to his best position.. The bench.. I'm being delusional aren't I

I see West ham season ticket holder Sammie Szmodics hit a first half hat trick for Blackburn yesterday and Is the championships top scorer. The price tag may now be prohibitive as his stock has risen significantly and somewhat similar to the players we already have but I wouldn't mind seeing him Kudos and Bowen trying to hit it off with Paqueta just behind

"I know what you mean Manuel. I’m guessing in the Jan window we are restricted on who we can get. Let’s just hope, if he does arrive, he proves to be a darn sight better than Fornals, Benrahma out left l. See I just set the bar incredibly low :-)"

"Bergjwyn might turn out to be ok. If Steidten and Hertinga are recommending we go for him then I’d trust their judgement. He’s scored 8 and assisted 14 goals albeit in the Dutch league but he’s fast, strong and plays wide left to solve our problem of Moyes playing everyone out of position there. Of course knowing Moyes, he’ll drop Paqueta, JWP, Alvarez to a accommodate him and leave his lynchpin Soucek in place :-)"

"Ah yea, no I didn't rate him at all, he was always a sub for them and that was the only one thing he ever did, think he has a really annoying tash too. A big no for me. That is not a 'next level' player at all. I'd rather try to get Lookman or the Italian kid who was with Leeds last season."

I can remember him pissing me off by scoring twice as a late sub in injury time for those cunts away to Leicester a couple of seasons back.. That's about the only time I've really noticed him

"I can't see a forward arriving either. Antonio is out, Kudus is away Bowen is needed on the right. Yet some people never fucking learn from past lessons do they Mr. Moyes... Werner would have improved us a rapid player on the left. A striker would improve us as would give us flexibility with our other options. But we don't need one apparently."

"It's not hard to work out who might be genuine goers and who won't be, even more so with Timmy boy here now, the chances of the likes of Firmino and Sancho rocking up here are zero, and I can't see anyone touching Broja. Looks like Wolves want Ings, but only on loan, with Kehrer only going out on loan, at least initially, I think we can see already how hard it will be to shift our dross. Suppose the only hope is the Saudi's. It seems a left sided winger type is def our priority, followed by a CB, can't see a forward arriving, or even any full backs this month."

"Oh and i see Jorden Henderson wants out from Saudi, i hope Moyes has no intention of signing that greedy cսnt, but he has Moyes type player written all over him. he told the world it was absolutely nothing to do with Money, he was going for the challenge of establishing the fledging league and in the process be a force for good in the region when it came to such things as LGBTQ issues etc Now only a few months later he wants to fuck off back home to England."

"Some of the rumors are just bonkers, Dier, Firmino or that bollocks about loaning Sancho, that turned out way off the mark as he's off to Dortmund. And as ever we couldn't go a transfer window without links to Broja!! Whats Carlos Bacca up to these days?"

"Werner to Spuds, initially a loan. Can't say I'd want the player, but it's an example of a club needing a player and getting it done, Moyes will still be telling us there are no strikers out there."

"He was rapid, but a bit hit and miss. I guess Heitinga is ITK about him and that’s where it’s coming from? In general, I’m not keen on anyone who’s played for them, but if Moyes is going to unload Benny and Cornet I’d feel better about it."

"Bergwijn doesn't excite me but it depends how much we'll have to cough up for him. Never looked good for Spurs, hideously one footed and a bit raw if I'm remembering correctly. Still, as long as he's not a Moyes pick he might work out a the right price."
