Oh gawd, Tommy on but JWP seems untouchable?  A real worry as JWP is one of our weakest players imo although today Paqueta is worse.

You'll usually find that in friendlies teams take the first half serious and then ease off and try things in the second.

The number of free kicks and corners we waste is nobody's business...

You'd think we'd have a game plan, considering they're about the only opportunities we get...

Diouf very raw and I'm very unconvinced how hell do when he comes up against real quality.
Kudus gone with no replacement.
I think we hane regressed and a long, boring, hard season awaits.

Why did people expect better than last season? Delusion from supporters.
Team got worse and people expect improvement 🤔

The spine of the team hasn’t improved since last season. Maybe the GK, but centre backs and centre midfield hasn’t been improved.

I don’t see us improving of last season much, if at all.

But that most talented player is African and a troublemaker according to you..
Yes, do you disagree?
You seem confused so you're saying we've weakened ourselves by selling a troublemaker who downed tools, according to you
Please read carefully.
Kudus was the most talented pkayer and a troublemaker, but due to an incredibly poor squad, we have reduced our threat by selling Kudus even though he was an African trouble maker.

Fair assessment FCJ.

Unbelievable that the area of the team most in need is the one last to be addressed or in previous seasons never properly addressed.

It seems having a huge number of midfielders every season has blinded us to the fact they are all lacking the essential attributes of pace, strength and movement that the Prem Lge demands. As I say, its been going on for so long and only the emergence of Rice masked it for a few seasons.  Why cant successive managers see it or make it the prioity. Is it Sullivan saying “you got too many midfielders so you cant have any more until some are sold”?  It makes no sense. Its so bleedin obvious

It’s free on whutv if you watch via the app on android. iPhone it’s a fiver!

Yep was easy, took 3 mins to download the app om android & register. Straight into the stream which is free  perfect & perfect.

We still look fucking clueless all over the pitch, our only attacking plan appears to be to get it to the wing backs, get down the line, put it in the box & hope something happens.
Midfield is awful with JWP in there.
Don't look particularly solid at the back either.

Why the fuck is Wilson not on the bench?

If this is Potters masterclass then we are in for a long season.

Most talented player sold. African left back signed.
Free transfer forward signed.
Lee season games have been very boring, non attacking stye of play.
Squad value depreciation from last season and last season was horrendous.

As poor as this squad is, it really doesn’t help when you’ve got a coach who insists his defence play the ball out from the back and ignores the fact they can’t do it without taking a tonne of touches and playing themselves into trouble
I know people can’t bring themselves to admit Potter is shit, but Christ almighty, I’ve never seen a West Ham manager constantly ignore the obvious problems right in front of his eyes
