Protesters - Demonstrations
Do they ever feel silly? They certainly look it. What possible change would politicians make in response to a bunch of wankers chanting the same thing over and over again, or a sign saying hoot if you support us?. The left are the worst, the rent a mob lot out in force recently trying to look tough in masks and balaclavas: also the ageing middle classes who never grew out of thei teenage opinions with their stop oil nonsense. Demonstrations should only be allowed in enclosed areas by appointment which could guarantee them air time to make their views known. Why do these people think that their views have more value than the rest of us. In the 80s I was a union representative at a big psychiatric hospital, and it was branch policy that we had a demonstration march to the town hall in support of a wage claim. As a representative I felt obliged to take part, it being a democratic vote. I thought the whole thing ridiculous. We held up the traffic, wasted police time and people endlessly chanted Maggie Magie Maggie Out Out Out! I'm sure that most demonstrators are there because the think it's fun and really don't give a fuck about the issues.

Can't you guys keep your political drivel away from the football forum.
There's a perfectly serviceable politics thread bubble in the Off Topic section for all the manufactured outrage

Re: Protesters - Demonstrations
Saw that over half of the 532 people arrested at the weekend protest for holding placards supporting the prescribed terrorist organisation Palestine Action were over 60
Only 71 were under 30
People could have gone along and supported Palestine without the placards. Now potentially could face 14 years in jail
Would ask how many arrests have been made over the years of people who have supported Al Queda? Or the IRA

Very long but compelling watching. Only about half way through. Will watch the rest later Billy.
As you can see from my post I worked this out for myself. I have common sense, logic & critical thinking ability & understand nuance, which applies to none of the Pro Pali brigade. The more high profile politicians like Corbyn, Galloway, Sultana & co are dishonest and are enemies of the state & the West.
Glad he said that 20k Hamas have been killed. I knew that because it's obvious and the IDF have said it, who do people think Israel has been fighting for almost 2 years. Hamas don't distinguish between combatants and civillians, or their youth soldiers & children when they announce their bs death toll figures. Ever heard the media mention or question this? Ever seen a war where the casualty figures are on a rolling ticker & the numbers are reported so accurately & quickly?
I have been to Israel and been at war on social media for years with the Jihadists, Islamists & liberal mugs over this.
There is an entire Industry of fake vids, pics & info, we call it Pallywood.
I have tons of videos & images stored of their fakery, & how they indoctrinate children to hate & kill Jews.
Obvious question is if their cause is so just why do they have to lie and fake so much?
Funny how there's no food or medicine, and there's apparently more hospitals and Journalists & medics in Gaza, which is about the size of London then there are in many countries.
The "famine" narrative is yet another lie. Theybeen claiming they are on the verge of famine for18 months, so by now you'd expect to see Ethiopian style pics of mass famine, yet the best they can do are a few pics of terminally ill kids & adults or staged scenes, yet everyone else looks fine. Are Hamas starving, of course not. Odd how everyone still has a phone and Internet connection so they can post pics & videos on social media of the "genocide"
There are even cafes & restaurants still operating in Gaza..
There's timestamped videos on Tik Tok.
As Johnny Rotten once famously said...

If you want some idea of what hamas are really capable of, give this a listen. He is dead right, hamas will sacrifice as many Palestinians as it has takes to make sure as many people as possible hate Israel for decades to come.

Fuck Palestine action and the entire gobby, muggy Pro Palestinian movement. One of their legal case funders is some rich kid in the States who's family got rich from the system he wants to destroy. He says he chants death to America everyday and wants to bring down the West. They are not transparent about their main funders which suggests it is probably someone like Iran or Qatar.
This is the idealogy of the Pro Palestine movement who have been conducting a huge information war against Israel since Oct 7th. It was all planned as they knew the consequences and that they couldn't win a war against Israel, they need Gazans to suffer & brought it on and made sure they do.
They were worried that the Free Palestine movement (which is more sbout destroying Israel than giving ordinary Palestinians a proper state) was losing momentum, and that Israel was about to normalise relations with Saudi Arabia which would have been catastrophic for Iran & its proxies, so they decided to commit the worst atrocity against Jews since the Holocaust and then play the victim.
Don't forget that on Oct 9th these cunts were on the streets glorifying Oct 7th & Hamas whilst tearing down posters of the hostages with their fingernails whilst Israel was still discovering bodies & counting their dead.
Fuck them!

Correct
It's not rocket science he taps into people's fears and frustrations and highlights what people are seeing in their everyday lives and promises to provide a solution.
A very effective politician but the foundations of what his party promises are more than likely built on sand.
Starmer continues to be an embarrassment in every possible way.
Biden Mark 2 ?
He struggles to make a speech without constantly referring to notes and then still manages to make a meal of it ..
The Trump episode was cringeworthy
How on earth did he ever manage to perform as a barrister in a court of law ?

Re: Protesters - Demonstrations
These protests grab the headlines I guess but looking at some of the footage those protesting are outnumbered by old bill and media both mainstream and citizen journalists.
The most effective way to protest is to stop funding those you have the issue with.
This is difficult with the state because deductions are taken to out by your employer but we have seen it in the past with poll tax and the like.
Most lefty protests are heavily subsidised by trade unions and ultimately the members who pay their union dues without really looking at what their contributions are being used for.
I believe someone stated previously that you can pay for representation separately without being a full member ?
Problem with the BBC ?
Then don't pay your licence fee
Overall I think we are heading towards a point that there will soon be more taking out of the system than paying in
People are sick of working for a living and getting taxed to the hilt whilst those who have contributed very little or fuck all even are getting state funded handouts.
People playing the system claiming PIP with fuck all wrong with them is one such annoyance as well as the asylum seekers from safe countries being put upmin four star hotels.
Some see how easy it is to get on this ladder they then think if you cant beat them join them.
How about the filthy crime ridden streets while councils waste millions on vanity projects and employing diversity and inclusion officers.
Even some monied lefties i know have suddenly changed political direction mainly through being hit in the pocket and my die hard labour supporting scouse workmate has signed up for Reform.
The one thing that constantly amazes me though is how these MPs and council bureaucrats totally fail to read the room and the mood of the nation listening only to the vocal lefty minority on twitter and the like.
You forget the silent majority at your peril but they never seem to learn.
Local council elections next year will no doubt reflect that

Is it when they run around arresting people for saying they are English?
Seems more likely people are threatened with being arrested as terrorists after Palestine Action was designated a terrorist organisation and people are advised not to attend demonstrations in support of Palestine
Or Not My King protestors peacefully at Royal events are arrested and held for hours because they aren’t keen on medieval nonsense of Kings & Queens
They dictate things like educational policy (what history is taught, and how, for instance, gender inequality and other such nonsense).
There is no opposition to imposing this onto the nation's educational establishments (maybe the public schools can still tell them to fuck off, which must absolutely boil their piss).
They "suggest" the structure of the NHS trust policies and employment preferences (no - or not enough - LGBC3POMGBGT staff, means delayed funding, for instance) and lean into the justice system by suggesting the prioritising of cases against non-left people over those who seem to support their ideals.
Departmental contracts won't be placed with firms who's make up doesn't meet a certain criteria.
Of course, there are no instances of specifics to bring to your attention, but, like statistics, there are trends, which if you know how to spot are glowing like a million candela light bulb on a dark, moonless night.
While people insist (INSIST) on being given specific examples before making a stand, the domination of the state (and who it serves - the left) by the left will continue.

Personally I support the right to protest but that should be in a way that minimises public disruption
Obviously marches are supposed to get police permission but always seem to end up down Oxford & Regent St’s causing disruption. Put them in Parliament square or elsewhere
Unapproved protests like Extinction Rebellion blocking traffic or ‘Concerned locals’ trying to burn down hotels should be moved on or arrested
There's no Napoleon, no Wellington, no Nelson, No Churchill and no Hitler "leading" the left.
It's driven by a set of shared common beliefs (for reference, see Islam).
Not everyone on the left agrees with everything done in it's name, but there is enough commonality to allow it to move forward in driving how the state acts.
I'm sympathetic to a fair few "lefty" ideas and ideals, but until they present a fully funded plan for these I'll pass.
Even if they do present such a fully costed plan, which is a not unreasonable expectation, if they want me to fund it, it still needs to get high enough up my (not their) list of priorities for me to take a look at it.

Did make me laugh seeing a GB News reporter stroll around one of these hug an immigrant protests, only for them to tell him he's not welcome there and asked him to leave.
Maybe if he sexually assaulted someone, he'd be more welcome there?

Re: Protesters - Demonstrations
It's brutal out there and it's only going to get much worse.
The disposable income middle classes are going to get squeezed hardest because whoever the government are they know full well they can take the absolute piss because those guys, gals and the ones who are still undecided have the most to lose out of anybody. They are terrified of going back to being working class or even worse in their eyes which is being proper fuckin' poor.
They are largely all maxed out on their credit cards and personal loans and just about managing to pay the back breaking mortgage on a vastly overpriced 3 bed semi-detached. The stiff upper lip is obliged to endure even if you're coming apart at the seems. Nothing ever change. Do nothing as The Specials once observed.
I work in a public art gallery which is about as middle class as it gets but I can see how frayed and short tempered most of our visitors are these days. There is only one reason for that but again it's the elephant in the room. So every other reason is thrown at the wall. I'm sure staff at John Lewis must be experiencing similar.
The post-war consensus is finished. The old Tory/Labour axis was designed for a time which no longer exists. A time when there was still plenty of slack that could be ruthlessly exploited in the economic rope. All that has gone, so the only thing left is economic cannabalism. But it's business as usual for all the political behemoths because they don't know how to change their behaviour. They know nothing else.
Clearly somebody else is calling the shots. So they figure that If the ship is sinking they will be the first in the lifeboats after nicking everything that isn't nailed to the fucking floor.
Which is where all these right wing knee jerkers like Farage and his ilk come to the fore. They want to steal the stuff that is still nailed to the fucking floor whilst waving the flag telling everyone how proud they are. They are there for the fire sale. Bottom feeders emancipated by ignorance using the old divide and rule. It literally never fails to convince. Check out yer history books!
Basically, people need to be less greedy and live more within their means...but we all know that ain't gonna happen even if it means the shit hitting the fan. We're almost there.
It's s going to be emotional
