Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"No I don't get the gist at all. We're discussing players recent form, saying they haven't been good so there's nothing to say they will be now isn't the same as not getting behind them when they play. I've always liked Benrahma and backed him, he's been fucking awful since being dropped from the team this season.. His confidence is either shot to shit or his heart isn't in it He's lost his place so Soucek can stink the place out, who could blame him. Most of our squad players are treated appallingly... Yet expected to step in when needed... We can all see what happens when they do..."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Nah Manuel, not a wind up, just got jack of all the negative shit that's gets spouted especially around Moyes he gets blamed for everything, and if not him then Sullivan, not sure what some people want apart from moaning about everything, surely some on WHO have not followed their true vocation in life and become football managers, some seem far more clued up on all aspects of the game than Moyes! We could sack Moyes tomorrow but guaranteed no matter who came in he would have his own thread up with a month calling for this sacking. Its the West Ham way................"

"I think you get the gist fraser?, maybe a sparsely populated forum but its maybe the same as chatting down the pub and giving your thought isn't it. FFS"

"fraser - Haven't you noticed yet that Sydney is just on a 'wind up' these days with his new found 'simple optimist' persona, he's gone all Nutsin. Not sure why though, can only assume it's for some kind of self amusement, as he's bored."

Mex We're talking MENS football here. I think you're on the wrong thread.

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Well i agree with Mex! plenty seen to have decided we are going to implode without certain players, lets at least get behind the fringe players, this situation is not unique to West Ham, Spurs and Newcastle have big injury lists, every team has players out. quite why some of our fans immediately go into doom and gloom mode? Let's see if we get any in as well, im not sure things are as dire as some think. COYI"
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"goose ffs stop it and back them, they're already both crying into their corn flakes after the very mean posters on. Who have slagged them off, back the team or go and support spurs"
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"it's not being negative for the sake of it though is it? it's making a judgement based upon how they've been playing. both have been poor for quite some time. I could easily say you're being positive just for the sake of it, because there is no indication that eithers form will magically turn around."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Mex The club and players are going to need our support this month so why not just get behind them instead of slagging them. Why post shit like this, wtf has discussing players on here have to do with backing the team, there is absolutely no correlation."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Fornals and Benrahma are both class players and can be real assets to any side at this level. Some on here are so negative just for the sake of it. The club and players are going to need our support this month so why not just get behind them instead of slagging them.

"It's been a long, long time since Fornals and Benny were top of their game. And it's not like either haven't been playing. Both have played in over 20 games already this season."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"I wouldn't totally right off Fornals and Benny, neither will set the world alight though and I would suggest they would need to be at the top of their respective games to be an asset in this upcoming period, and we haven't seen that for a long time from either. Can they step up? Possibly. Are they likely to? No."

"Mex, I think they can come in and do well for us, I'd like to see Fornals given a central midfield role, that's his best position."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"It’s like we go round in circles time and time again, no direction, Sullivan and Moyes won’t change giving Steidten very little chance to succeed. Unless he’s given free reign, we’re in for more of the same."

"I agree Mex, let's not write these 2 off! Both Benny and Fornals on their day have been decent, quite why some have decided they are suddenly utter shit and bound to fail is being overly pessimistic. Lets at least get behind them. COYI"

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"It'll be interesting to see if Benrahma and Fornals can step up to cover for Kudus, Paqueta and Bowen. Recently they haven't done anything, but in the past there have been some good games by them."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
On a brighter note now is the time for injuries if we are gonna get them. January schedule is still a good opportunity for us to get more wins in the bank even with a depleted team. Plus all our stars will be well rested for the run in. Could be a blessing in disguise.
