Fine.

He can throw three managers under the bus rather than just one. He can shout three times as hard about how everyone else is letting him down.
GSB only got the Olympic Stadium because that baked alaska with a brain injury was mayor of London at that particular time. Anybody else and it wouldn't have happened.

With a nudge and a wink Boris would've probably told them they were going to get it for free sooner rather than later because the London taxpayer couldn't subsidise it. The fact they were well publicised Thatcherite zealots like their nemesis Barry Hearn at Orient certainly helped smooth the path. It was no great surprise that both were in the running to get the OS in the aftermath along with Levy who wisely used it as a bargaining chip to get planning permission for his very shiny new toilet bowl. It's alright if you have a Tory running your club as long as it's one who knows what they are actually fucking doing. As per usual, the spuds fans just don't know they have been born yet.

Of course, it should always have been designed to be easily converted to football after the Olympics with a smaller sustainable athletics stadium built in the Queen Elizabeth Park afterwards. However that shiny bellend Seb Coe stubbornly insisted that Athletes could sustain the white elephant and continue providing a future legacy when no Olympic Stadium in living history has ever managed to achieve that aim.

The fact that Blairite cheerleader - the late Tessa Jowell backed him and Ken Livingstone who didn't like sport anyway went along with it because he really couldn't be arsed to split hairs after recently being re-admitted to the Labour Party just made things even worse.

If anything, it is an asset that could be very profitable if an operator who knows how to make the most of it was allowed to run it giving a generous return to the taxpayer. Which is probably why Sadiq Khan (another flake) has wisely been advised to hold onto it despite everybody thinking it would be the property of Sullivan by now. Maybe he is waiting for the next Tory mayor to take office but reading the room I can't see that happening in London anytime soon.

A confederation of dunces from start to fucking finish and it ain't panning out too pretty eh? 😩

The £200 million Kretinsky pumped in. Was. In all likelihood help to make the Post Office go through easier. He make that. And more when he sells it on. As for Tripp. Most likely in for the land grab. Same as Sullivan. Or knows someone who will take it off of Sullivans hands when we drop.

If they have the power to do anything about it. I really don't know if they do, without the Golds' joining forces with them. But you'd think they'd have collectively acted by now to stop Sullivan destroying their investment because only together can they usurp him.

Our ownership structure is in just as much disarray and shit as the state of the squad and football side of the operation.

Only reasons there can be for them not collectively stepping in are:

They just don't care or are complicit with what's happening, or just as clueless
There's some legal framework or something dodgy preventing it
They just want Sullivan to hoist himself by his own petard, knowing he's skint and desperate and just inflicting more and more damage on himself, and then fuck him off, hence why the money has dried up and it's just a waiting game.

I hope it's the last of those three because the other two are just beyond worrying. The last isn't ideal because it means lots of pain for the club but if it purges us of the cancer infecting everything from top to bottom and allows us to start again then so be it.

Hate to say it but ownership is prepping us for relegation. They realise now. They ain't getting the OS. And nobody coming in to buy the club outright. Not while you can't buy your way to become a better team. (Newcastle anyone.) And the price is way too high. They can't shift the Gold shares. And anyone they can get a price on. They are pimping around. Potter will be gone by June. And if we do manage to stay up. The players who kept us up. Will be hawked around.

This was about getting the land and OS cheaply as possible for ownership. Never about running a football club. And now they ain't getting either. We are major burden for them. And even if we drop. After fifteen years and relegation. Ownership would have still made money on us. This is the beginning of the end for the current owners. The next few seasons will be rough.

Grant relegated us.

Bilic was sacked too early for me but still lasted longer than the average PL appointment.
Moyes was only on temp contract first time and given loads of time next go round.
Pellegrini had us in a relegation battle by Xmas (mainly because of Roberto).

Lopetegui's the only one who really wasn't given much of a chance.

Yep, no denying or a surprise they gave their old pals Allardyce and Moyes the longest - due to the fact they were seen as relegation/promotion specialists which is what ultimately drives them to get in and remain in the Prem - but all the others weren't given a proper chance and backed the way they keep promoting about themselves doing. It's just not true and has in part caused a lot of the instability at the Club by lurching from 1 new manager to the next.

But of course they had to long Grant off for what he did, I just see little justification for rushing to other sackings as quickly as they did under the circumstances. Bilic will always do my nut in as he deserved more time considering the excellent 1st season under him before having to be the one to take on the poison chalice nightmare Stadium move that not even Guardiola could have coped with. Gets midtable anyway 1st season in the Hellhole before it was even redesigned under his recommendations, then a poor start after October then they sack him!

They don't back all their managers as they love to claim.

Thinking back over their entire reign of terror at our Club, one of the biggest lies these wankers made was always backing managers and giving them loads of time to succeed. It's simply not true, is it..

Zola - 6 Months
Grant - 1 Year
Allardyce - 4 Years
Bilic - 2 years 3 Months
Moyes - 6 Months
Pellegrini - 18 Months
Moyes - 4 Years
Lopetegui - 6 Months
Potter - 6 Months and counting

It's a total myth they always back their managers and give them plenty of time to turn shit around ever since Zola got the spanish archer, other than those considered to be an old pals act like Moyes, Allardyce and now seemingly Potter. And Lady Muck parroted it again yesterday to a national audience lying through her teeth.

If lose heavily to Chelsea which is highly possible I think we will see an exponential increase.
Since I last posted about it, I see it's jumped up another 150 or so. It's certainly gathering momentum, albeit due to the fickle nature of having to witness us getting spanked by a shit promoted side. Where were they before then.. Anyways, it's getting signed is the main thing.

Combining their time at Brum as well as here, are there any other owners in the entire history of the game, who can match their record for getting relegated from the top flight?

I’d be very surprised if there were.

3 relegations in 5 years is certainly something that’s never been ‘achieved’ by anyone else.

I think this season could be pivotal in seeing him gone. But yes, the pressure needs to be ramped up big time. I think apathy can only go on for so long, then the anger returns.

didn't WHUISA organize the last march, that was going well until £-notes appeared days before & then the march got cancelled... apparently there's some good 'raves' at the Hotpoint now.

Hammers Utd is worth reaching out to, seem to have the club at heart.

I’ll concede that it might make no difference, but it’s a start,  who knows what could be next?, it wouldn’t just be names on a list, Brady and Sullivans ego would get a jolt and the media would have to take notice. I agree that they should be run out of town after being put in the stocks for a home game, and for treating our supporters like total thick cunts, at UP you probably would have got the majority of the fans to turn and force these cunts out, but that was UP, and those fans simply ain’t the ones we’ve got now unfortunately.

I find it unbelievable that our total fanbase (remember the trophy parade?) can only muster 6k signatures when it takes a second and costs zip, yet pretty much everyone moans about the owners.

Now you concede that that they DO have chinks in their armour? Birmingham fans made it uncomfortable enough for GSB that they openly stated they wanted out?

Our current fans failure is doing nothing and expecting a change, you state that Sullivan won’t bat an eyelid, but Birmingham have proved that he will because he’s a cowardly little cսnt, why do you think they went to so much trouble to disrupt the marches if they weren’t bothered?

Mate, the only thing that makes no difference is doing nothing, and like it or not that’s what has been happening, doing something isn’t an end result but it’s something.

BTW, agree with chants (but there’s no chanting), agree with banners (do they let them through the gates yet?) and agree with the unrest and coins but it’s not going to happen again, they’ve learned. Different tack time maybe.
