I have a feeling that we could win by the odd goal.
I think Chelsea will go hot and cold this year.

2-1 to us Bowen brace.

Always could be a funny-old-game result, but everything points to a massacre. We were outpaced, outcoached, and outworked against Sunderland. Chelsea are multiples more dangerous than Sunderland, and they are coming off a home nil-nil draw. We can't count on overconfidence or overlooking us. Maybe the club world cup takes a toll, but I think it more likely they're just in better form, and they won't feel the effects of that until mid to late season.

Prediction: 0-3 with Chelsea heavily rotating after being comfortably in front to manage minutes.

Massive, exact same thoughts ran through my mind when I watched that. I don't normally watch Potter's pressers but I watched this one and I immediately thought about the difference between him and Bilic as well. This cսnt knows where his bread is buttered all right.

What strikes me when listening to his mindnumbing Pressers is how much of a Corporate wet dream he is. Says and does everything by the book and does not veer at all off his shit script. You can see why the likes of Brady gets wet knickers over how he comes across. The ultimate Yes Man polished wanker that has a complete character vacuum by design. And it evidently shines throughout his Teams as well. Bland as fuck that doesn't "think outside the box". 'Opinion' paint-by-numbers tedium, but as long as he hits some of his important KPI's and tows the party line, he's the perfect appointment for them. Someone who always does as he's told like a good little boy.  He's the kind that petitions for 20 mph zones in his local community and phones the Council to remove england flags for fear of his neighbours being offended.

Now when I think back to the days of having a real character in charge of our Team Slaven Bilic, he was always expressing himself with ease. With unique individuality, intelligence and humour that was engaging everytime he spoke. And for the most part, so did his Team and the signings he brought in to the Club reflected that. Unlike the incumbent wet wipe, Bilic was never afraid to tell the Owners about themselves and who could forget him laughing his head off when talking about the whole "Dildo Brothers" debacle.. You could hear the laptops being smashed up from the Boardroom when he did that without any fear. Could have even cost him his job in the long run pulling a stunt like that but Bilic did it because he genuinely cared about the Club and it's fans who got each other. Not this imposter.

There's no edge to Potter, no personality, just an impressive display of middle management wank that would bore anyone (including players I strongly suspect) in to submission.

Just listened for a little bit to the hammers chat video with the chelsea fan on it. It felt utterly ridiculous he was critiquing their team and saying he wasn't happy with all the massive expensive squad they have and they needed upgrades in some places.

It was like sitting in a fucking slum drinking pond water and eating a raw dead rat to stay alive while being forced to listen to a smug millionaire moaning and telling you about his first world problems while supping on a glass of Bollinger and scoffing caviar.

Had to turn it off, it was ridiculous.

Don't know if this is the reason but a lot of photos now don't have a .jpg or otherwise extension on the end of their URL any more which means that the forum won't display them properly.

It's temperamental.

TBH I feel a heavy loss televised while the window is open is almost more beneficial than a spirited one goal loss or draw here. Surely a heavy loss will shame the board into action whereas a narrow loss will give them cause to not bother. I just fucking hope if it's the shitshow we are anticipating that there is a very visual reaction against the board which is picked up by the broadcaster.

My heart obviously wants us to win the game as with every game, but my head says it'll do more medium to long term good for the club to lose this. Horrible.

if we're going to be playing poorly and lose, then lets be truly atrocious and get absolutely trounced if only to give the management at our club the returns they deserve. I am finding hard to get excited or show any interest at the moment if honest.

Palmer, apparently, has gone 17 games without scoring a goal in open play. Enter stage left, West Ham United, to ensure this stat is put to bed. We will be lucky to get nil. This match against these cunts used to be one of the games i was always right up for but now, meh! The team is uninspiring, the manager likewise and as for the board, well fuck me. Oh, and the cherry on the cake is the fucking awful stadium. All in all what a time to be alive.

I don't think they are as great as everyone has been lauding them as, but we have the worst centre backs in the league. A boring away win.

Same as Fraser.

They are going to walk through our midfield and run rings round our centre backs. We don’t have the pace in the middle of the park or strength to deal with them.

I cannot believe even Sullivan hasn’t made serious moves to get in the necessary players in midfield. If we were a Fucking dog we’d have been taken away from him for neglect by now.

I'm also banking on Chelsea being jaded after all their World Cunts Cup exploits over the Summer taking it's toll on them. They looked tired in body and mind against Palace struggling to beat them 0-0 at Home last weekend. Long may that continue..

Tough game. Very little hope...we seem to be here a lot in recent seasons.

Anyway...my prediction: 0-2 (Delap, Palmer)

Lineup: 3-3-2-2
Hermansen

Todibo Kilman Aguerd

Wan Bissaka      Rodriguez.              Diouf

Soucek.           Paqueta

Bowen.      Füllkrug
Subs: Areola, Mavropanos, Walker Peters, Scarles, JWP, Irving, Potts, Wilson, Marshall
