Way to early to predict anything with confidence so will go for a 1-1. Be interesting to see the crowd reaction should they take an early lead but if there is to be bad feeling I hope it'll be aimed at the directors box rather than the players.

I've seen some depressing threads on WHO the past 20years that said... this thread goes beyond depression

I actually thought of giving all sharp objects to my neighbour for safe keeping, only to remember I live in a 5th-floor balcony flat, ho-hum

Looking back, the last time Fullkrug scored for us was 9 games ago in the League. He needs to fucking score.

Reckon we’ll be two down by HT. Everyone will just fuck off home and the stadium will be empty by the hour mark.

Far Cough makes a good point. Fullkrug could end up being the fans secret weapon by single handedly destroying the meccano set stadium all by himself with his temperament being so fragile. The "retractable" scaffolding wouldn't stand a chance.

I'm predicting a good old spannering by the rent boys and for Fullkrug to go full on Operation Barbarossa on the changing room afterwards.

Unlike at Sunderland, our undoing will not be decent crossed into the box but their ability to get thru our central midfield and in behind our defence with qick one twos or ball thru the gaps which exposes Kilman or Aguerd

One of the root causes is our inability to keep pace and press from the midfield and as a team.  Palmer if given room ( likely with Guido, JWP as double pivot ) will have a field day but they have others that will enjoy time and space they get against West Ham as opposed to Palace last week. And then there are the turnovers and quick transitions we cannot handle when Paqueta or even Bowen or Fullkrug get dispossed or a stray pass out from the back goes to them. They will pick us off fairly easily.  I expect another 2 or 3 goal defeat

We have been here so many times where we should lose heavily but somehow scrape a result and then go back to losing again. You just can't predict but if you looked at the teams and their qualities, Chelsea should win easily. I think Chelsea will win but maybe not as big a scoreline as they should have. I'm going 2-1 to Chelsea but some pockets of West Ham good play and a decent goal for Fullkrug.

Anyone thinking we will get something from this game is delusional tbh, obviously hope we do but just can’t see it.

If the end of last season and then the transfer window havnt been depressing enough, the start to the season has only magnified that disappointment of what this great club has sunk too.

Couldn’t give a fuck any more, well wish I couldn’t at least 😔

He should have drafted in Potts and Soucek in the first game, so there's two I'd change to swap out donkey Rodriguez and Ward-Prowse. Need youthful legs and muscle for this type of game. Sure it'll be a baptism of fire for Potts but sometimes on these kind of occasions a youth player rises to the occasion and becomes a new hero for the Club which we desperately need right now to latch on too. The crowd would look after him. I can understand others having reservations putting him in against Chelsea but that's what I'd do.

I'd also fuck the 3/5 at the back nonsense on the head an all and go with a flat back four going back to basics instead of overcomplicating it the way he does.

Looking at the squad, he's unlikely to make many, if any, changes for tomorrows game, is he?

Mavropanos might come in, if he's got any sense, but other than that what else is he likely to change?  I doubt he'll start any kids.

It's going to be the same shit team, same shit formation, same shit performance, and same shit result, isn't it?

He's always a smug rude cսnt to Moose.

I actually don't mind tubbs, as sometimes he manages to get right under the skin of managers and makes them reveal their character well in conferences.

I didn't like his answer when questioned by the bird about whether he'd had a one-to-one chat with Hermansen after his mistake having chucked him in at the deep end after only being here a week.

"I don't think I need to have a chat with him. That's why I have Goalkeeper Coaches here for that. He'll start tomorrow."

Wow. What a dereliction of duty of the Head fucking COACH to pass the buck like that psychologically on to your new Goalkeeper Coach that's just arrived himself. It's a pretty important requirement of a Head Coach/Manager to check in on him after such a shocking 2nd half. Why the fuck wouldn't you talk to him even if only to reassure him?

I also think he shouldn't be starting games already anyway. I was genuinely shocked when I saw he started away at Sunderland. I'm no fan of Areola but he needed time to bed in and also win his place, rather than just take it.

Reporter - "Are you surprised the players were unable to do the basic things, like running?"

Potter - "No"

Then why pick that fucking shit midfield then?

Yep. He definitely sounds like a man under pressure after just 1 game in.

"It's great that after a bad result you think there will be a silver bullet, there won't. The game wasn't a 3-0 game in my opinion."

He got that right. It should have been by 5! 😆

Sarcastic twat! 😆

That wasn't the only weird thing he said to a reporter.  It's hardly likely to get them on his side.
