We're a mess Attwood and I think it is too much for any one person to sort out, needs new owners and a complete revolution
you are right of course. 3 billionaires on the board, 16th richest club in the world yet it seems only we struggle with PSR because we spent whatever last season.
i don’t know if Kretinsky has a long term plan to assume control or whether West Ham was just a convenient place to park several squillion quid.
we need owners with a vision and a strategy of how to get there.
I’m guessing the 3 CHINAMEN who strolled down the aisle carrying beers were tourists
Probably Chelsea fans & won’t be back for the next game
True that noticeably more tourists last night
Will be more white seats as the season goes on
Half the crowd had escaped well before the end
About 5 or 6 players bothered to come and applaud the 5,000 that were still in the stadium 3 mins after the final whistle
Bowen , Soucek & Walker-Peters among them
There looked to be loads of empty seats dotted around the Stadium before the mass exodus happened. Very noticeable throughout the 1st half. This is against 1 of our fiercely hated London rivals Chelsea in an opening Home fixture. That's what they've done to us.

I mentioned this earlier in thr match thread but I've never seen so many tourists at the ground.
So many foriegn shirts, loads of Americans.
Don't get me wrong I've been that tourist when I've been to games in spain, but the sheer volume was huge last night. Especially for first game of thr season and a London Derby.
I'm assuming that a lot of st holders were still on holiday and resold as a lot of people near me weren't there, but im also aware a lot have given up. I was damn close and wish I had now
Yeah l noticed that as well,Germans, chinese and yanks plus loads of half half scarcers

So THIS is what Next Level looks like having to move from the Boleyn to the Circus Stadium.

Highlight of the evening was seeing the idiot getting a slap and kicked out for jumping up when they equalised
I stayed after the final whistle in 111 and the amount of Tourists rushing down to the corner was just fucking depressing
I saw a whole family of four walking around in some German team”s shirts. Fuck knows what they’ were thinking. They walked up to supporter services to ask something and they weren’t even challenged about it.
I Saw handful of other foreigners in some other team’s shirts too. Like a bus load of them arrived for a day trip.
On a positive note there was some effort to get an atmosphere going behind the stands before the game at the corner of the BML and BBL. Made me optimistic before kick off.
Positives about the match (yes there were some) obviously include Paqueta’s goal. I also thought they were doing ok at build up play and causing Chelsea some problems in the first half. But this was not a strong performance by Chelsea so not sure how much we should take away from that.
Bowen was far from his best which is worrying as he is our only hope. The keeper is a Roberto 2.0. Needs to be dropped. The defence is non existent and that’s a bigger problem than our slow midfield.
Obvious what will happen now. He will get Sean Dyche in around Christmas and this will be scrappy fight to the end. To be honest we need relegation to force the sort of change we need. But I am afraid there is a big chance we will just get worse and fall further. This could be the end game. Thanks Sullivan. cսnt!
I predict that by the evening of Sat 13 Sept. We will have zero points out of 12 and be out of the league cup. There are absolutely no grounds for optimism.
Somehow Sullivan and co have managed to assemble a squad that is probably the worst we have seen in 40 years and brought in a manager whose demeanour and tactical nous is worse than Avram Grant and Glen Roeder combined
You need to go some to bring in a keeper who looks worse than Roberto and Mcknightmare.
Kilman £40m worth of dogshit.
Aguard makes Breen look good.
Midfield pedestrian and not good enough
No legs
We might of well kept Fornals
Top heavy in wingbacks and a waste of money when Scarles had proven himself last season.
Paqueta not fit to lace Di Canios boots
Fulkruig goes over too easy and lacks mobility
A poor man's Jimmy Quinn
Wilson a like for like replacement for ings.
Another worry is character or the lack of it
We lost some solid citizens at the end of last season who would of dug a few out tonight and whenever the need arose.
Cresswell Coufal and Fab all got West ham and to be honest would of probably done a lot better than those on the pitch tonight.
Watched the recording after being out. Don't know why I bothered or expected any different. Circus of a club, joke of an owner, manager, stadium, kit, badge and team! New keeper makes Allen McKnight look good, Hammer of the Year had an absolute mare as did every other player. Can't defend, can't attack and can't control midfield. Hard to believe it was only a few seasons ago we were dominant in the air at both ends but Todibo, Kilman and Aguerd haven't got a clue. Forget Freddie Potts, Steve Potts would do a better job. In fact what are Alvin and Galey up to now, can't do any worse. Need several new players but no one in their right mind would sign for us. Totally inept management of the club top to bottom for too long now. Wouldn't blame Bowen for slapping a transfer request in tomorrow, he deserves better.
