Re: Sullivan out!
It appears Sullivan simply bided him time like most evil dictators do, see Stalin, Hitler and Putin did.
They all waited for an opportunity. For Sullivan the opportunity was the old skool fanbase getting old and tired and the passion of the next generation being diluted by modern society, social media, changing demographics caused by you know what, and the opportunity of a move to a soulless overly large athletics stadium which can be easily diluted by day trippers, tourists and away fans.
Sullivan is no incompetent goon. I firmly believe he always intended to kill this club. He saw an opportunity when he acquired it in 2010 with his fellow sex business "businessman" Gold and has profited big time whilst running the club and the old skool supporter base into the ground.
No wonder he wears Soviet hats. So pathetically Stalinesque is the little squirt.

Re: Sullivan out!
One thing I really hope happens, regardless of how people protest again them, is that we collectively don't stop now.
I don't care if Potter goes on a 20 game beaten run, we cannot stop with our goal of ousting these bastards.
Enough really is enough now. The Football is secondary to ridding ourselves of this cancer within our Club.

Just don't go for three matches and demonstrate outside the stadium where the directors have to enter

Re: Sullivan out!
The petition has broken the 10,000 barrier!
Could well get past 30,000 by the end of the season.

I think fans can add to it even by banging on about it on every possible social media outlet
As well intentioned as the people with the petition are I think Sullivan will ignore that even if it gets 100,000 signatures
Needs to be action at games with chants and banners particularly televised games.
Sullivan’s experience at the ground needs to be made as uncomfortable as possible
He needs to be driven out by any means necessary or the club is literally dead
Mate, it doesn’t matter if Sullivan ignores it, it’s only going to take some of the media to take notice and he won’t fucking ignore it then, by which time he might well not be able to save face with his lazy media chums. Whether a signature works or not? It’s like not bothering to vote, costs nothing, might or not make a difference, honestly the people that can’t be bothered to do it is staggering. It’s like they just want to say told you, and are frightened they could be wrong.

It needs the job fucking lot. Everything now needs to be chucked at them. Petitions, Phone-ins, column articles, protests inside and outside the Stadium, banners, leaflets, hammer them with everything we've got.
We will get our Football Club back..
or you could make Sullivan, the Gold family and Kretinsky an offer.
Until they receive an offer that gets their attention, you have no chance of Sullivan going.

Re: Sullivan out!
HURRAH!
We've finally broke the 9,000 barrier in under 3 months during the Summer Pre season window - 6,000+ during that period.
1,000 sigs in just over 24 hours.
The West Ham massive has FINALLY woken up from their Potter coma-induced deep sleep..

From 6,000 to 8,000 sigs now in the space of a couple of months.

It'll be over 20,000 come the end of the season.

Re: Sullivan out!
It does feel different now that the national press and pundits have got Sullivan directly in their sights and are calling him out as self-serving and incompetent. Obviously this is massive wishful thinking on my part but it does feel to me as though something big is about to happen. I suspect it will still have to get worse before it gets better but it’s good that people outside of our fanbase see where the real blame lies.

Re: Sullivan out!
Another fine takedown of the little man in today's Observer:
"Somewhere in the middle of this, David Sullivan largely seems to avoid the consequences of his actions, but this is his mess far more than anyone else’s. The pint-sized ex-porn lord is chair, largest shareholder (39%), de facto director of football and chief negotiator once more, despite the overwhelming suspicion that he thinks analytics is a new-fangled kink."

Re: Sullivan out!
Good points AThammer. Its an exercise in fultility for all of us though. Sullivan and Brady are going nowhere. They believe they are doing a good job. Brady part time CEO on over a million. Shes interested in brand “Brady”, West Ham are not her priority. The Sullivans are blaming everything on Potter and being backed up by various sychophantic agents.
7 days to get 2 dynamic midfielders, a CB, striker. We will get no one

Re: Sullivan out!
People got to understand. The mayors office ain't selling the OS to Sullivan. And certainly not at that price. But don't fret. I would imagine certain agent people will make sure that £200 is well invested.!

ATHammer wrote: ↑23 Aug 2025, 15:43 Now created the perfect environment for relegation. Potter is diabolically shit, so can the board, realistically give this wanker more money to select players for his failing system project? Unlikely.
Do they have any money to belatedly rectify this situation? Arguably yes but lots of waffle about PSR which is code for not wanting to put their own money in. Sullivan prefers a third party loan and one suspects that Trip Smith and Kretinsky must be horrified by the asset diminution but unwilling to put money in that is "managed" by Sullivan and Brady.
Is a good manager going to come here and work in this environment? No.
Are we likely to bring in a fireman after 2 games this season? (Potter has failed over more than 20 games)? Conceivable.
Will we buy the legs in midfield of a quality that Brady says everyone can see we need? Unlikely.
Will Sullivan bottle a decision? Probably.
A vicious circle that sits firmly with the way the club is run. An unbalanced team stuffed full of "backing the manager" rubbish; Ward-Prowse; Kilman; and now Potter's signings looking both inappropriate and shaky. Good players being devalued through poor team management.
Meanwhile we are bombarded with the working night and day narrative. If they are then they are busy fools as for another season they have achieved jack shit. It is simply manifestly apparent much earlier in the season this time.
The 15 or so years of G(RIP);S;B;K have been disastrous for the club. Far from the Jim White saviour of the club version, Sullivan and Brady are closing in on terminal cancer for our club. All of the crap we watch on the pitch; the piss poor manager/head coach appointments; the money pissed up the wall on inappropriate signings; the Fawlty Towers training facility (mortgaged); the drivel we hear from the press conferences; the escalating debt; PSR issues are all directly attributable to the board. They are totally out of their depth as the house of cards they built collapses around them.
Not much of a World Class Team in a World Class Stadium is it?
Incompetent arseholes.
At hammer, sorry didn't read all that but fully agree on your last sentence

Re: Sullivan out!
It’s not all doom and gloom
Expect Sullivan and the board will be coming up with ideas to promote next seasons derby fixtures, Millwall of course will be the big one but let’s not forget QPR, then hopefully a bigger London club in the Cups, Brentford at home should get the tourists through the turnstiles…..,,
