I honestly don’t know. At a first glance it is highly unlikely but then TS might see something in him that they could work together. I’m at the point of it wouldn’t surprise me.

"Was just reading about Carlos Forbs (his full name is Forbs Borges .... Forbs is the maternal family name & Borges the paternal and he has switched to FORBS) 5'7 winger who is 20 in March, was in the Man City youth teams from 2015 & was sold to Ajax for 14m Euros Bissau-Guinean descent but been in the Portuguese youth teams from u16 up to u21's."

"Russ. Not a dig or anything but when you say you’ve heard these rumours, they are just stuff on newsnow that everyone is reading Manuel. I mentioned Heitinga taking over from Moyes late last year and you said no chance."

Other rumours I've seen / heard: We are considering a loan move for ex-Celtic Jota who's out of favour at Al-Ittihad. A few PL clubs looking at this one. West Ham are said to be one of 'several' clubs monitoring Callum Wilson's imminent sale. Millwall and Leeds Utd have both registered an interest in signing Ben Johnson.

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Carlos Forbes (previously known as Carlos Borges) is now back on our radar. In the summer with terms agreed with Ajax and the player and pen ready to write signature on paper, Ajax came in and stole him from under Steidten's nose. The bloke responsible was Ajax director of football Sven Mislintat, who has since been sacked for causing, what is being described by his predecessor as, huge financial chaos.- which led to Ajax having to sell Alvarez and Kudus in the same window. Now, in a strange twist of fate, Ajax are still needing to balance the books and are looking to offload Forbes wages and Steidten is rumoured to be ready to pounce."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Yeah I can't see him going straight in especially as Moyes prefers to play Paqueta there so he can get an extra midfielder in. It's a Danish club isn't it? The same one as Kudus came from which has a very good academy. Plus the likes of Brentford, Brighton and Dortmund bid for him apparently and all are good at finding young players.... No guarantees as its a punt bit an exciting one I think."

"Nick from claret & booze was saying the other day he thinks that Heitinga could be our manager next season because we have bough two of Ajax's players, plus like Bergwin. Was hearing that Moyes always wants this kid, not just the scarf, not that that means he will throw him in 'coz he won't and tbf I wouldn't expect him to. His chances may depend on if we buy another player on the left like Bergwin. If not the question is will he be above Benny and Cornet in the pecking order, if they don't leave."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"It is a big fee for a kid from the Norwegian leagues, you would have to assume we have done our homework and been tracking ham and feel the risk is worth it. Maybe in the first team squad but not like we rotate much and especially the youngsters in that squad, i would guess he is one for next season, looks like Paquata will finally go to Man city in the summer and you would have to think Kudus is going to be sought after, just amused me that Claret and Booze had him in the starting lineup, as far as im aware he is just a very good prospect playing in a B League, and since when has Moyes been one to throw a young player straight in? hes renowned for doing the opposite, taking an age in fact!!!"

"A fee of 18 mil is being MUTED, if that's true then he will definitely be in the first team squad, but yes can't see him starting games anytime soon. As for him being loaned out, possibly, not sure."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"Yeah, bit rusty when it comes to Africans in the Norwegian leagues! Was watching one of the Hammers YouTube things, Claret and Booze i think it was? And they had their starting lineup after this transfer window and this fella was on the left wing? Was a bit of a WTF, As if Moyes would be starting a 19 year old from Norway...LOL He may well be mustard but i think a few are getting ahead of themselves, IF he is coming let's let him settle in first and get a few games with the reserves or even loaned out for the rest of the season to get up to speed in English football. One thing is certain, hes not going straight into the starting 11, wont even be near the bench i suspect either"

"Sydney - You've never heard of a 19 year old Ghanaian playing in Norway, I'm not having that, I'm quite sure you do know him but he probably just slipped your mind."

"Never heard of this Osman kid until the links! Hope he turns out to be as good as some think. Hes big black and African so i expect no relation to Russell? LOL I do get a bit concerned whenever i hear the term ""wonder kid"" though! Had a few of them and they always seem to end up in the lower leagues and forgotten! Just off the top of my head, Savio, Frank Nouble, the Sofiane kid from France, Freddy Sears etc etc Lest hope this kid isnt in the same ilk"

"Phillips will start, Soucek is not as bad as many are claiming on here, and does not deserve the abuse he's getting! It's a squad game and both will get plenty of minutes."
