Bruce Springsteen - New York Serenade (live)

From my favourite Bruce album 'The Wild, The Innocent & The E-Street Shuffle'

Roy Bittan plays keyboards (been with the Band since Born to Run), the original keyboard player was a guy called David Sancious who left the band after the original album was released... Roy does an excellent job on this rare live performance of the song but the original is immense keyboard wise... enjoy.

I liked Asia too but I think this might have been DESPITE Steve Howe. I think maybe I would have liked them more had they had a different guitar player?

It's strange, despite fully appreciating his skill, abilities, composition skills AND longevity, I've never found Howe's guitar playing did anything for me. I think it's probably the staccato style that he seems to bring to everything, but it just goes to show, 'different strokes' and all that.

I always found his collaboaration with Hackett intriging, but it probably made a lot more sense than two guitarists with similar styles working together.🤷‍♂️

Listen To The Lion - Van Morrison (Saint Dominic's Preview, in my opinion his best album, although he's thrown out a fair few decent corkers since then)
