I’m sure the German has planned for this but as always a sellers market dictates the outcome. Bottom line is no one wants to sell their better players mid season unless the fee balances out their aims for the rest of the season. Hence loans & deadwood being done….

I’ll be fuming if end up with no additional forwards. Have they learned nothing from two seasons ago when we had the opportunity to push on - when it was achingly obvious we needed another forward? We have to make hay when sunshines in order to find success. This is one of those seasons when we could finish top six while so many of big hitters are in transition.
