Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"I assume Philips wages are probably more than the Benny, Fornals + whatever the winger was meant to cost. We shot our load on a DM we don’t actually need. ESP. If we get rid of two attacking mids. “he giveth and he taketh awayeth” … I’m hoping Johnson is converted into the new Yaya Toure!"

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Antonio will be like a new player...until he shoots outside the box and all the memories come flooding back to us.
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"So it sounds like a possible end to the window scenario will be Benrahma and Fornals out, and some young French centre half maybe coming in. What a Moyes window that would be. A defensive midfielder and defender in, and two attacking players out. Meanwhile, we haven’t had a centre forward that he wants to play for, well his entire tenure. We shouldn’t complain about that though, he still hasn’t found anyone better than “Micky”."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
We'd be fucking stupid to keep Cornet. Benny and Fornals if we've tried so hard to bin them off this month. And we'd be fucking stupid to sell them if we have no cover. It's already been confirmed we're fucking stupid by leaving things so late.

"Rumours mean nothing Richy, are any deals even close? I heard as we have a game tomorrow our business will be concluded today and nothing will happen tomorrow."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"'clearly aren't going to sell / loan out Benrahma, Cornet & Fornals in the next 24 hours.' Why is that clear? It's looking highly probable that Benrahma and Fornals will leave for Lyon/Betis and there has been enough noise around Cornet this window to suggest he is also available if the right offer comes along"

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
If we out Fornals & Benny it's going to be Antonio & Cornet to cover for Paqueta isn't it........
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Doubt they’ll let more than one of the three leave without replacements. Great motivation for any of the three that stay. ‘You’re only here because we could not find any better option’. JWP our new left winger I reckon.

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
..... its also been a very quiet window with barely any clubs making additions. Bit of perspective needed here.

Fauxstralian/.convict whatever. I have not seen you post on this site before. It is also noteworthy to say stop talking sense on here. Some of the retards on here will not understand you. You of course are 100 % right by the way athe s PD and Moyes literally killing this Club.

"It all makes pefect sense, the Premier league cash cow is safe for another season. Pragmatist Gutless Dave has told Sullivan off the record that when we face a decent side in the Europa he will wave the white flag. So saving on wages and getting some fees in makes for the perfect January."

"Yorkammer 2:44 Wed Jan 31 Ahh, here’s the inevitable club lapdog response desperately trying to deflect away from discussion they refuse to enter. Could have put money on it being this div as well."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Guaranteed we get an injury tomorrow night and dickhead Dave will moan about lack of squad depth all whilst allowing 3-4 out of the door.
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Window closes in 36 hours. Will stocks of Tena pads last that long?

"It would be utter insanity to allow Benrahma, Fornals and Cornet to all go and get in no one. Just how thin to Moyes and Sullivan want the squad to be FFS?"

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
And who would've thought it - When we was last in Europa League and looking to win that and kick on the club did what? Buy nobody. And fuck me it looks like they're going to do it again. The incompetence is so tragic its almost funny.
