Its hard not to be negative when the club takes incompetence to a new level last night on and off the pitch. West Ham computer blamed for registration issues apparently? Must be housed on the same server as this site ?

Iron Duke 10:54 Fri Feb 2 To be fair the scarf cսnt hasn't exactly covered himself in glory in this window. He's allowed Moyes to get the awful Phillips and was speaking to the wrong agent for weeks for our 'number one transfer target'. But yes he's on his bike with Paq and Kudus this summer for sure.

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"I, like everyone, am always proud to day I am a West Ham fan. But, fuck me, they are embarrassment at time. This window for me cements why Sullivan and Moyes need to go sharpish. Incompetence doesn't actually do this window justice. It is sheer and utter professional suicide. Firstly, last time we were in Europa, our window was zero players in. We couldn't believe then how naive and incompetent that was. Now, they've done it again. Yes, we got Phillips, but we didn't need him and he will bring fuck all to the table apart from a sideways pass here and there. Secondly, screaming to get players out to free up wages and they can't even do that. And how they did it was unforgivable. Benny had flown to Lyon and our poor admin fucked the deal. Benny will be right up for the rest of the season now....LOL. And who could blame him? Cornet, Benny and Fornals should've been out the door in the first week of the window. Replacements brought in. Striker required. Fuck me, 3 other PL clubs signed strikers just yesterday. As Vexed said at start of the week, the club don't want to progress. Progression brings success and success brings expectation. Moyes and Sulli don't want that as expectation brings pressure. I am utterly convinced now that Sulli and Moyes are deliberately obstructing the club."

"Great, now we can have Benrahma, Fornals and Cornet all on the bench whilst Ward Prowse plays left wing."

"Assume Fornals stayed too? I really wasn't bothered if him and Benny went or not, if they did so what, if they stay for 4 more months, so what. I said at the beginning of the month I don't like the Jan window anyway, so won't have a meltdown, but it really the same old shite as money windows and you have to wonder if Steitden is fucked off or not. Moyes will be delighted 'coz he got Phillips."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Understood the Benrahma move was delayed at one point as he wanted a payoff but sounds like either the fax machine ran out of paper or they couldnt find Brady to sign off the papers as she was face down in the CHEESE BOARD in the Directors Lounge Complete and utter shambles Can imagine how motivated Benrahma will be if he turns up to train tomorrow with the goggle eyed SCOT Did Fornals happen?

"They haven't been great this season, but glad Benny and Pablo are staying, they may well be required and hopefully both can put this window and the uncertainty behind them and get back to their best, on their day both are decent players, let's not forget that. COYI"

"I’d say it’s yet another window of trying to play hardball and waiting until the last minute to get deals done - when we got none of our other targets in we pulled the plug on the departures. Having said that the January window is never. Good time to buy, but we’ll probably just fade out the rest of the season now. Left four points on the table in the last two games. Those points were saved by penalties."

Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
"from sky sports. Clearly Sullivan is back in charge...... ""Lyon accused West Ham of “incomprehensible behaviour” and a ""lack of respect"" after the deal to take Said Benrahma to France collapsed late on Deadline Day. Benrahma travelled to Lyon in a bid to complete the move before the French window closed at 10pm. The deal was a loan with an obligation to buy - in total worth more than £15m. However, despite Lyon claiming the deal was agreed, the move collapsed at the last minute with the Ligue 1 side blaming West Ham for the breakdown. A statement released by the French club said: ""Olympique Lyonnais were delighted to welcome Said Benrahma to Lyon this Thursday to finalize his transfer from West Ham. The two clubs had signed a temporary transfer agreement, and Olympique Lyonnais had obtained approval from the DNCG to allow the transfer to take place smoothly and transparently. ""However, at the start of the evening, while Olympique Lyonnais had entered all the administrative data on the dedicated FIFA platform (FIFA TMS), West Ham had never launched the slightest technical procedure on its part, despite the repeated reminders from the OL and continuous mutual telephone communication. ""In the absence of this reciprocal action on the part of the English club and following this incomprehensible behaviour, raising questions, the international transfer certificate could not be requested before closing time nload the Sky Sports App ""Olympique Lyonnais deeply regrets this situation and this decision, demonstrating a profound lack of respect on the part of West Ham towards the institution and the player. ""The club reserves the right to initiate all appropriate procedures necessary to validate the transaction at a later date, and to hold West Ham responsible if necessary."" West Ham responded with a statement of their own: ""West Ham United can confirm that the Deadline Day deal for Said Benrahma to join Olympique Lyonnais was not concluded ahead of the deadline, with a deal unable to be completed before 11pm."" Real Betis are still waiting to find out if the deal to sign West Ham midfielder Pablo Fornals has been finalised. All parties believe the correct documentation was processed in time. Deal is a permanent transfer worth close to £7m. Clarity on whether the deal has gone through is expected on Friday. Fornals was at the London Stadium alongside his West Ham team-mates on Thursday, watching on as they drew 1-1 with Bournemouth."
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Benny and Fornals both staying. Suspect we realised tonight we couldn’t afford to lose them.
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
What a joke club we are. We've left ourselves even thinner than we were going into the window and the only player we bring I throws in a turd of a performance in a trio of defensive midfielders that still manage to concede after three minutes and start with no recognised striker. Amazing fucking work. Am I clutching at straws hoping this means that they ain't retaining the idiot Moyes?
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Said Benrahma's loan move from West Ham to Lyon has collapsed. They say everything had been agreed but West Ham forgot to enter information in Fifa's transfer software.
Re: Official Transfer rumours and gossip thread
Just heard that allegedly Bennys move to Lyon may be off because West Ham again allegedly put the wrong details into a system. Suspect someone realised Moyes Jwp on the left wing experiment didn't work! Car crash of a club at times.

"Impossible to know what’s going on in the background, but this non window might mean Sullivan has decided not to renew Moyes and keep the money for a new man in the Summer."
