This is spot on.

I often used to be asked what I believed the most important skills were when managing people. Obviously there are many elements but essentially it mostly boiled down to a clear understanding and focus on the objectives and goals you were responsible for, and very importantly a well-developed empathy for those you managed who were tasked with portions of achieving those goals.

Understanding and flexing around their individual circumstances and concerns, was without question the best way to show that you valued their contribution, gained agreement on how they would best contribute, engaged genuine enthusiasm, and ensure that we were all working towards the necessary goals.

What cracks me up about the thick cunts in charge, is they (Labour and many EU Leaders) don't even make a serious attempt to try and look like they're tackling the issue. So it makes it more likely for Starmer and Labour to be removed, rather than give the soppy proletariat something to cling on to thinking they're making a difference even when they know they're not. And in by doing so, they will be out of power for an incredibly long time the way it is developing, or indeed the eventual collapse of the EU which has been struggling for over a decade now. Proper thick strategy as the people in my opinion will eventually rip this entire political sham up and put even more unpalatable characters in power they really dislike.

The people across the continent have clearly had enough with huge protests popping up all over and in the biggest Countries of them all like the UK, France and Spain. In a way now, I'm kind of pleased their arrogance to the situation has exposed themselves so everyone can see what's really going on and will vote accordingly in future. I don't see either the Labour Party or the Conservatives getting back in to power in this Country for a very long time.

If someone’s child has died from cancer the person might express sadness but be relieved inside. I might not know about the relief as the person feels obliged to show social norms not their inner feelings.

if a psychologist analyses someone like this should they have empathy?

how many people should I try and show empathy for, even if I don't have a clue how they feel and am really just projecting my inner feelings? Perhaps outwardly to project a socially acceptable version of what is currently fashionable?

I do understand the concept but its utter baloney.

how about I just say “ get a grip you wet lettuce”

As it happens, I make Kirk wrong on this one, but he was mistaken or ignorant of the correct definition, as many are in this case (not least most of the posters on here), not in any way evil.

I would bet if I was beating the shit out of someone they would likely feel pain but just because I think that would be true doesnt make it so.
My feelings would be based upon me not them. I would know me not them.

I can be sympathetic or altruistic but I cant know how they feel. Only they might know that.

Well. How would I know how someone else feels? By the way they whine?

You know the answer, of course.  You have spoken of your interactions with humans a great deal on here over the years.

We can't 100 percent know but it's the trying that makes people function in society.

BRANDED wrote: 15 Sep 2025, 15:41 How possible is it to be empathetic?

We will only ever know what is going on in our own minds and even then most of us dont do a great job of that.

I think the real way to say is "try to be empathetic" ie. Making the attempt to not be wholly trapped in our own feelings.and viewpoint.  Most people try, just some more than others.

The harder part is not judging others especially beyond their actions, which also follows from point you are making (which I agree with).

Further reports

"His family has collectively told investigators that he subscribed to left-wing ideology,"  Kash Patel said.

Ammunition found with the suspected rifle was also reportedly engraved with antifascist writings.

Faux

OK so youre either a troll or one of the dumbest people on here... or both

Once again answer my points

1) Is it not possible for a somone in the same family to have a different view to the rest of his family?

2) what is the FULL empathy quote, this time dont forget the but about sympathy?  Post it here...  actually read it

I doubt you'll respond to either point properly

My narrative?
Didn’t know this MAGA clown from a bar of soap until the other more extreme right winger shot him
Dreadful business
Perhaps the country could at some point revert to a sensible government for all the people and stop all the killing by restricting the ownership of firearms
Crucial as the country seems infested with violent morons
Many of them in positions of power
Very sad as there are many great things about America
