Just got to hope the protests against Sullivan and Brady continue and increase even if Nuno oversees an upturn in results.  

As Steinberg points out, West Ham are run like a19th century business with one man calling the shots. A mill owner back in Victorian times. The club is a play thing for him and his boys who’s lives are empty . The downside of extreme wealth. No purpose. 

That said, above this Sullivan’s primary concern, and why he bought the clib, was financial.  Its an asset and he saw getting a rented stadium and being able to sell UP as the prize. Gets the profit of selling the old stadium and increases the value of the club via the rented stadium.  He and the shareholders have made many millions in asset value from West Ham over the last 10 years and will cash in at some point.  The protests will hopefully influence this but if not the demand for Sullivan and Brady to step aside from day to day running of the club makes a compelling argument.  Very hard for the media to argue they (BS) have done anything but a very poor job other than increasing their wealth . 

A stadium not fit for purpose that has now become a millstone that prevents us growing our revenue via commercial deals thru events, naming rights, hotel infrastructure etc. Ironic that Sullivan, Gold and Brady cited the stadium move as essential to grow revenues and compete with the rich 6? It now prevents us doing just that. Spurs getting 100-150 million more in commercial revenues than us.

Sullivan making recruitment decisions, influencing players the club buy is just absurd. No footballing CEO or Head of Football Operations, no DOF the only club ( aside from Fulham) without these kinds of professionals.  No long term plan, sub standard training facilities, calling fans customers, disrespecting history via the badge naming change all part of getting tourists in to change the match day demographic, increase ticket revenues, quell fan resistance. No understanding that it would destroy the atmosphere in a athletics stadium which already felt half dead.

He may be far more wealthy but the way Sullivan behaves has always reminded me of the Oyston's at Blackpool...but they didn't have an economics degree between them. Another shocking saga if you read about what they did over the decades 

He does have academic qualifications and from a very prestigious university to boot or so we're constantly reminded - but it's like he can't help but indulge himself in that very same kind of outlook and behaviour that those bunch of scallies did by the seaside.

Walk out for Brentford game has to happen because the Potter sack timing is probably to ensure Nuno takes over at the next home game with the priority being to soften the protest movement.  Its a classic move from the Sullivsn / Brady playbook.

Aside from perhaps Burnley where its unclear, every club in the Prem Lge has a CEO and DOF position akbeit sometimes slightly different titles.  Sullivan performs both of these functions.  A unique set up. So its hardly a mystery why we continually fail as a football club. It beggars belief and Kretinsky, Tripp and co are culpable for not challenging what is clearly an antiquated, amateurish state of affairs

I’m not reading too much into Kretinsky’s alleged interjection into who gets the job after Potter.

He does seem like a shrewder mind than Sullivan, of course. And he generally seems ok to me. Absolutely nothing against him.

But, at this stage, he’s probably panicking about the value of his own 27% stake in the club. If we’re relegated, that’s 27% of a lot less than he anticipated.

The only board member who “might” benefit from relegation would be “Power” Tripp Smith (8%) because, allegedly, he’s interested in raising potential takeover money from a consortium of Yanks and other investors. And he’d have to raise a lot less if we’re in the Championship. On the flip side, it’d be harder for him to find investors.

Never forget that we’re an investment to all of these people. Gold has gone. Nobody on the board is in it for the love of the club. Just us fans and some players.

Yeah, the idea that someone may have gotten a job via blackmail is one thing. To suggest that said blackmail is still ongoing 40 years later and means that they cannot be fired is plainly absurd. The alleged victim has as much, if not more to lose by it going public, especially if she likes to present herself as a feminist.

There are porn stars who like to present themselves as emancipated feminists because they write the "scripts" and direct the cameras and have their own website which takes in more of the money for themselves. All this for regularly having an eight inch dick up their arse.

No idea. They sound terribly spurious those allegations. Although you couldn't put it past whoever the article alludes to, should the alleged misdemeanors have any credibility.
